12/1/2006 09:37 | Another 300,000 buy just gone through from last night at 140p.... | rivaldo
12/1/2006 08:02 | Good spot johnpaul1 - bodes extremely well. Srategic Equity increasing their stake maybe? | rivaldo
11/1/2006 17:37 | huge buys at end of today | johnpaul1
09/1/2006 15:15 | Hmmm...moved down 4.5p on 90k shares traded?! Seems like some are being mugged to provide cheap shares to the MM's ready for another leg up imo. | rivaldo
06/1/2006 12:27 | Stemis, don't forget CGR up too - you in them as well (a third cheap ISA stock imo)? Unsurprisingly a few are taking profits, but the rise is holding nicely now. On such a cheap P/E, with good growth forecast going forward, I can see minimal downside and excellent upside over the nxt few months. | rivaldo
06/1/2006 12:22 | A stopped clock is right twice a day, Sparkey ... If I was to post on every bb on advfn that the share price was to go up, in a bull market I'd be right more than 50% of the time. It's not whether you happen to be correct - this could be chance - it's the quality of your arguement/analysis that counts. | vmjmurphy
06/1/2006 10:40 | Ha TDay I can see your satisfied smile from here! I have to say though Made was correct about CEY and gives a lot of entertainment on that thread. Good to see these finally moving, bought in at 115 | sparkey_two
06/1/2006 10:27 | made1686 I'd appreciate your supremely articulated comments on the current share price uptrend. | tday
06/1/2006 09:23 | Good start to the day; Watermark and Biotrace moving up strongly and a good trading statement from Keller! | stemis
06/1/2006 09:20 | Yep, very nice indeed :o)) Yet again the IC gets it wrong...twice! All we need now is at worst an in line trading statement as per this time last year and we should see a further move up from a P/E of 10 or so. If an update is good then that 189p target might be reached a bit quicker than TW anticipated.... | rivaldo
06/1/2006 08:24 | Well and truly blasted into the 140p-170p range today. A great start to the day and looks like it'll flirt with 150p today at this rate. :-) | njp
05/1/2006 20:47 | I suspect that bird flu will turn out to be like all those other recent scares, e.g. the Millennium Bug, variant-CJD, Sars etc. etc. Namely, the predictions of disaster will turn out to be completely wrong and grossly, ludicrously overestimated. Of course, all the doomsters will never admit to being wrong - they'll be too busy trying to drum up a panic on some new "deadly threat". Meanwhile, those of us who are intelligent enough to ignore them will carry on quietly making nice amounts of money ;-) | samg99
05/1/2006 20:03 | On a 2006 P/E of 10 based on 13.7p EPS (consensus) you're telling me it's undervalued at 137p rara :o)) Even Tom W's target of 189p would be a current year P/E of only 13.8 - hardly expensive. Assuming 2007 forecasts are for 15p EPS, the forward P/E at the current price would drop to 9.2. It's not hard to see a great deal of upside from there. | rivaldo
05/1/2006 19:57 | rara, So I'm told, bird flu has been around for decades. The media got hold of the story and everyone believes we're going to have a pandemic. Nevertheless the risk, slight as it is, is probably having an affect on sentiment. Moral? Don't believe all you read in newspapers. | tday
05/1/2006 17:26 | SamG We'll see in due time whether there's another buying oportunity before it gets to the 150-160 area again. I'm more than a little concerned with bird flu and it's effects on travel, so I'm out at 137 having been long since 114, but I shall be keeping a close eye on WMK as I reckon it's a good co and undervalued. | rara
05/1/2006 14:36 | Well it's already through 137p, being at 137.5p! The same old same old imo - the t1ps.com summary has alerted investors to the low rating afforded to WMK which Strategic Equity have also picked up on. Any stock on cheap fundamentals will eventually find its level, it's just a question of time and patience. Based on the outlook from the interims we should be getting good news soon, whether imminently in a trading statement as previously or via results. Either way the re-rating should continue to whichever level the market deems appropriate. TW says 189p - if results are as good as or slightly better than expected that sounds about right. | rivaldo
05/1/2006 13:35 | rara - are you saying that WMK is very unlikely to go higher than this without astounding news? I'd say the odds on an increase on the current 137.5p in the near future are extremely good, with or without good news. | samg99
05/1/2006 13:20 | I see that the cuurent price 137 at a resistant point, chances of breaking through with the current chart, very slim without some astounding news. Next resistance points 146, then 154. IMHO. | rara
05/1/2006 13:06 | rivaldo Yes, you're right IMVHO (I'm no chart expert either) but there does appear to previous support levels (which become resistance when breached) in the 140s. There's also the round number syndrome at 150p. Nothing insurmountable, but I'd expect some consolidation whilst it gathers strength. I'd guess also that apocalyptic thinking - now more of the avian flu variety than planes blown out of the sky - has affected sentiment, though the merits of WMK's strong management, sound business model and strength in what is an essential sector seem to be becoming more appreciated. | njp
05/1/2006 11:30 | Hey, hey...NJP, I was looking at the chart for resistance points, and the next breakout appears to my inexpert eyes to be around 160p... Perhaps some are confident enough about that trading statement to be wading in? I wonder if Strategic Equity are still buying? | rivaldo
05/1/2006 10:34 | A bit of grappling to do with the 140's first i'd have thought, rivaldo. Consolidate there before a push through 150p and then it should get there. Some news needed perhaps to break out of the 140's - an upbeat trading statement perhaps??? | njp
05/1/2006 10:25 | Nice - next target 160p? | rivaldo
05/1/2006 08:35 | Ooooh - is that a breakout (just!)? More small buying this morning, but more importantly it looks like there aren't any sellers left. | rivaldo |
