Yes, that and the fact there is an "artificial" short term excess demand for the stock.

It doesn't happen every single time, but more often than not I have seen spikes caused by SCSW tips fall back over the next few weeks (sometimes even days).

On the other hand today's move of c. 10% is quite small for a SCSW tip (unless there was a leak that it was coming last week) so maybe it won't be the case on this occasion.

Personally I would be wanting to wait a few days to see what happens.

Just a small note of caution re the SCSW tip - the price spikes they cause are often quite short lived and I have seen in numerous cases the price fall back again over the next month or so. (It's also the case that most of the price rise is reflected in the opening price, so most people cannot buy at the tip price).

That's not to knock SCSW (if provable their medium term performance looks very good); but all else being equal (which of course it may not be if new material good news comes along) now would probably not be a good time to be buying.

All IMHO of course, no advice intended.

Masurenguy - last year the q3 trading statement was on 2 November, so I am hopeful it will come out next week. Do you know where it has been tipped?

Finncap apparently forecasting 14.1c for 2019 rising to 16.5c in 2020.That makes for a somewhat rich rating of some 28x for 2019 at 310p...imo.

Anyone know on what date the Q3 trading statement is due to be released? I've also been told that WATR has been tipped this weekend so that may provide a further uplift in the shareprice next week.

So if we go for your 2019 estimate of US18.3c, we are down to a 2019 forward P/E of circa 17.5 which seems very inexpensive for the growth here. All IMHO.

If that were the outcome, the PEG based on EPS growth from 4.4c in 2016 to 18.3c in 2019 would be circa 0.3.

Lets hope the TS does not suggest something less good than this

I thought I had done well earlier in the week to take a stake here at 304 and then at 300 when the spread was very wide and I was turning down quotes to buy at 310 or so. If only I had waited a couple days. Hope you are correct EC regarding the q3 update.

I'm surprised by the continuing weakness here. The q3 update (expected c. 5 Nov) should, I believe, lead to a broker upgrade for 2018 and will hopefully generate some upwards momentum.

Richard I've bought all the way up to 340p; average 140p. No-one calls the top or the bottom without luck; better you've had the insight to buy into a good solid growth company when their market value is still low.
