Yep, fair play to him. But he also was ramping this yesterday. I'm not in and never have been but I was watching because I do see he has some good picks. But his picks and some of the things he says about them to convince himself they're winners are simply laughable. Shock horror an M&S food hall was rammed the weekend before Christmas.

FT broke news of this being close to being bought out only last April.
Total BS?
FT are really going downhill fast.

Surely the high lighted crime of stealing Rolex watches on the news recently would put me off buying the shares

Feel like this will dirft back to its IPO price (300p) over the coming weeks. One to avoid.

The first red flag in this sector was BRBY issuing two successive profit warnings. in here expect the same on the 8th of February. With the geopolitical tensions in the red sea, disrupting supply chain, inflation might stagnate or even rise. If everything becomes more expensive how on earth people will buy anything luxurious ?

Rolex are not what they used to be, I had one in the 80’s when they were fashionable, when you needed to check the time.I got bored with it after a few years and gifted it to my driver. These days it’s on my mobile, I don’t even wear a watch anymore. Also high chance of getting mugged in London when the weather is warmer and muggers can spot them more easily.

Not in these but that trap door drop from 700p was brutal, especially after all those ridiculous analyst recs before Xmas. I never take anyone of these recs seriously, they are often widely inaccurate

Retail sector is not investable at present imo

Will have a look in Q2 onwards

He may have some good winners, but there's plenty of losers to go with them.

That’s normal no? CR has made a lot of cash by cutting his losers early and adding to his winners, is’t that what we all do?

This shouldn't be all about ROLEX - but of course it is. ROLEX treat their customers like sh*t. Cannot think of another company that despises its customers so much.

Must admit you could see this coming, you can't buy a new Rolex, by just walk in off the street and buy one. Crazy.

Good for you. Not sure relying on someone elses word makes me a tramp but whatever. A couple of people on here trading a few shares is not going to make any difference. Assume you're buying then. Let us know in advance so we can watch you make your market moving purchases.

Liar.

I made the call.

Rolex supplied as always the number they agreed to and have always done. That was very specifically covered. Ya lying count covering yourself by saying a friend said it. Total tramp.

I didnt make the conference call but someone i know did and said it was awful. Rolex messing around with supplies. Were the Boucheron acquisition rumours correct. Ie they increasingly go direct themselves or was this a one off? No interest but fwiw.

CR rebels twitter is like that if a man who only sees what he wants to see. He walks into Marks and Spencers sees two people in the queue to pay and assumes business is booming. His political views are typical of a man of his generation who has never left the area he grew up in. Terrified of everything and anything he's not seen before. He may have some good winners, but there's plenty of losers to go with them.

I still fear if any of the other larger holders trim back this may go a bit lower so will watch now and see if a better entry prices emerges later on today...

Just a thought but maybe they should speak with Rolex to try and make it easier for them to sell the things.
