Posted at 29/7/2013 22:30 by briangeeee Typo, my thoughts on VPHA are probably not printable. While you're right, I have considerable sympathy with those unfortunate enough to have been duped by some of the highly misleading written information in many forms. |
Posted at 25/6/2013 08:17 by typo56 Looking at FLOW (previously known as EGX) I can't help wondering if they're heading the same way. I think they held about 27% of VPHA. |
Posted at 13/5/2013 15:13 by typo56 I didn't realise VPHA made smart meters. You learn something new every day! |
Posted at 25/3/2013 22:53 by melton john You make me laugh. Can't go lower? Just watch. Company still priced at nearly £8M. How long before it pays you back with a divi? Don't spend it yet. |
Posted at 21/3/2013 11:02 by philipm2 I don't know if anyone on this board uses stockpinger, i have had a lot of success with their daily lists, vpha was on todays and after some basic research, thought there were compelling reasons to buy in so, bought 250k.It might be nothing, but Ive done well out of other shares on the lists. |
Posted at 16/3/2012 08:04 by typo56 If they achieve anything remotely approaching £12.4m then I'm a banana! Given there doesn't appear to be mention of any upfront payment and/or further guaranteed payments (penalty is merely possible termination of contract) then Energy Home Solutions might as well agree to anything. Why stop at £12.4m? Why not £124m?Still, I suppose it allows VPHA to claim they have a good order book, which may be useful should it come to another fund raising. Perhaps I'm being too sceptical. It will be interesting to see how many of the 980 units British Gas "ordered" have actually been called off. Assuming we can work that out from Monday's results. |

Posted at 15/1/2012 16:15 by bronislav Interesting to see the rises in bglobal Melton.i know it's a different thing as bglobal is involved with smart meters.would of thought vpha would have made more progress in USA where the supply of voltage is erratic and not constant.not so much the possible money savings of vpha but more quality of supply. |

The only organisation to provide a comprehensive environmental benchmark for affordable housing providers, Sustainable Homes Index For Tomorrow (SHIFT) counts the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), WWF and UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) among its supporters, while its members represent over one million homes in total. Rick Smith, Chief Executive Officer of VPhase, said: "VPhase is delighted to announce its involvement with SHIFT. Affordable housing providers represent one of our key target markets, so being able to offer significant carbon savings for the housing providers alongside financial savings for tenants with our low cost voltage optimisation technology is a valuable double whammy." Andrew Eagles, Managing Director of Sustainable Homes also welcomed the sponsorship, saying: "We are very pleased to welcome VPhase to SHIFT. One of our SHIFT members has successfully used the technology. To get to the low carbon future we need reliable proven technologies. It is great to have VPhase on board as SHIFT continues to grow." VPhase tool used in energy and carbon reductions VPhase places significant emphasis on saving energy and lowering carbon emissions. By reducing and regulating the voltage used in the home, the device prevents energy waste and improves household energy efficiency. Great Places Housing Group, a SHIFT member, trialed the VPhase tool on housing stock in 2010. The independently assessed results showed average electrical energy saving of 8.7% and CO2 savings of 3.6%. SHIFT is the comprehensive environmental benchmark for affordable housing providers. The SHIFT Index is administrated by Sustainable Homes. In addition to VPhase, sponsors include The Apollo Group, Diamond Build, H+H, Inside Housing and Mears. Members are accredited on a scale of Commended to Platinum. SHIFT was launched in 2008 with 16 members.
