Trading Update and Notice of Interim Results

Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, is pleased to provide the following trading update as it enters its close period.

The positive start to the new financial year has been maintained throughout the summer trading period and the Group has continued to make good progress.

The UK division has further developed in the period as our core infrastructure, construction and housebuilding sectors remain supportive. The Brandon Hire business is integrating well into the Group's combined tool hire operation and is performing to expectations.

Within the International division, the oil and gas related activities have seen some modest upturn as the market slowly recovers. Our test and measurement business in the Asia Pacific region, TR Group, has enjoyed a positive first half trading, delivering valuable year on year growth.

Trading in the current financial year remains in line with the Board's expectations.

Notice of Results

The Group confirms that it will announce its Interim Results for the six months ending 30 September 2018 on Tuesday 27 November 2018. An analyst briefing given by Jeremy Pilkington (Chairman), Neil Stothard (Chief Executive) and Allison Bainbridge (Group Finance Director), will be held at 09.30hrs on Tuesday, 27 November 2018 at the offices of Buchanan (107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN).
