16/10/2009 12:52 | Guys - It may be my fault I bought in earlier this week but I have recently developed some kind of reverse Midas touch. Was thinking of opening a tipping service and if you go against my suggestions you should make fortunes. Sorry | chris cat
16/10/2009 11:23 | I doubt it - these depths always create problems as they are by nature technically difficult and there is quite a way to go yet I would guestimate that they will be at 2600 - 2800 but its only a guess and the deeper we go the slower it will get. | coco
16/10/2009 11:19 | Nah, the very earliest we should hear about the first prospect is end of the month. I agree with COCO, do not be shaken out of this one. The management is very experienced and have a bigger stake than any of us. | azalea
16/10/2009 11:15 | They could be, but the volume has been negligible. | the big fella
16/10/2009 11:14 | Could they be having problems with the drilling.? | hibberts
16/10/2009 11:11 | Nothing goes up in a straight line, more's the pity! | the big fella
16/10/2009 10:51 | Looks like we have a few panicked sellers over the last couple of days, probably because of this which has been known for a while. MOSCOW (Dow Jones)--Russian gas producer OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) may achieve netback parity pricing on gas, which will make domestic gas sales as profitable as exports, in five years, and not in 2011 as targeted previously, the Interfax news agency reported Friday citing the company's Deputy Chief Executive Valery Golubyev. "I think it will be possible for us to achieve the principle of netback parity over the course of five years," Golubyev said. Domestic gas prices are heavily subsidized and a planned liberalization of the market has been postponed amid Russia's worst economic crisis in a decade. But lets not forget that Vgas is prepared for this hence its closenest to the gazprom pipelines - our costs are very low. Also we are producing 2.5k of oil and many more prospects to go - dont be shaken out of your holding too easily. | coco
15/10/2009 17:26 | Oil futures are taking off again we it could see easily $80 a barrel by December, if the drill bit is successful hold on to your hats. | azalea
15/10/2009 08:32 | Morning all can't see in being too much longer before an operational update! | gizmohican
14/10/2009 17:43 | Go to the website - there is a link at the top of the threads. | coco
14/10/2009 17:39 | I am trying to look into this company. Where is Volga ? | nick coe
14/10/2009 17:29 | VGAS on parade at the 29th Oilbarrel conference(sold out) on the 28 October, the timing of its appearance, could be very significant. | azalea
14/10/2009 16:31 | GKP on the bounce again | gizmohican
14/10/2009 13:06 | Coco - Managed to get in with a small SB will to step in again if I get a little ahead. Thanks again for the shout on this one - hopefully it will come good. I seem to be the only person in the world who hasn't made any money in the past 6 months from the market. | chris cat
14/10/2009 10:12 | In for another 1k. By the end of this month the drill bit should be hitting the secondary prospect. | azalea
14/10/2009 09:53 | 0.75p now! | andyh78
14/10/2009 08:15 | Spread can get as low as 0.25p, just need to keep an eye on it during the day. | andyh78
14/10/2009 08:05 | Right now the spread is 200/210P. The spread varies wildly sometimes down to a few pence. Edit: I just bought 1k @ 210p. | azalea
13/10/2009 20:11 | Yes chris MM - MM is 17 - 21 pence between the three of them obviously DMA etc can close the spread to 0.25 pence - if you watch it closely up to now the MMs are fully in control. The upside will be well worth the spread and a 20 pence spread although painfull when I first got in it has been worth up to now and at £4.00 it will seem even more reasonable. Goodluck. | coco |
