Volex plc announces that on 17 March 2020, John Molloy, its Chief Operating Officer, notified the Company that he wished to exercise 495,256 of the February 2017 share awards that vested in February 2020 under the rules of the 2009 Volex plc Performance Share Plan.

Following notification to the Employees' Share Trust (the "Trust") on 18 March, the Trust is due to transfer 495,256 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence to Mr Molloy. Following this transaction, Mr Molloy will hold 733,706 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.48% of its ordinary issued share capital.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Article 19(3) of the EU Market Abuse Regulation No 596/2014.
