08/12/2017 09:05 | NAV now 6.78! | andyj
22/11/2017 09:09 | Up 20% since I posted last in July, but much further to run. | andyj
20/11/2017 12:57 | I’m here! | ny boy
03/3/2017 08:21 | £3.88 NAV now, but still no more share buybacks. | spectoacc
01/3/2017 10:58 | Last "Transactions in.." was for 23rd Feb, seems a little odd when they've so much to spend. NAV also gone up - last £3.87, vs £3.81 when they announced the buyback on 17/02 (ie I don't see why they can't pay higher prices, when NAV has risen 6p). | spectoacc
22/2/2017 13:19 | Prices they've been paying have been lower than I was expecting - generally around the 321p mark. Good for NAV accretion. | spectoacc
21/2/2017 12:04 | Will be interesting to see how close to NAV VEIL intend to go with the buyback. Seems many of the trades I identified above weren't even part of it, going by the last RNS. | spectoacc
21/2/2017 10:21 | I guess due to buy backs this is doing better than VOF, glad I recentlty swapped from VOF | bandit99
17/2/2017 10:57 | 500k 320p O trade now. Take my hat off to them, they're not messing around. Looking for about 335p here over next few weeks. | spectoacc
17/2/2017 09:30 | Looks like buyback kicking in already - 140k & 130k & 78.4k AT'd at 318.25. Unclear what discount they want to take it to, but clearly tighter than currently. They'll be restricted near-term by the "..No more than 105% of 5 day average mid price" requirement I think. Regardless, at current discount any buybacks will be usefully accretive to NAV. Edit - another 100k. Interesting it's all AT, and all from the bid not the offer. 10% of co is the max, fwiw. | spectoacc
02/1/2017 14:48 | Any thoughts on this vs VOF? | bandit99

26/10/2006 18:51 | Heck what is wrong with you UK people, ah was talkin to a very nice lady at the last Klan meetin , she looked gorguss in her white veiL, and slit eyed hood, ah have to admit ah kind of groped her (shucks) in the bushes later, but heck, who was she , an who was I? | bushesbabe
22/10/2006 18:47 | The wearing veils, jeans, t / shirts being teachers, policewomen, female footballers does not comply with the professional dress sense. It is not a question of civil rights it is a question of complying with the employers conditions. She needs to use common sense or stick to the home or get a job which allows a more liberal dress sense. | guru11
22/10/2006 12:14 | I personally have nothing against ladies wearing the veil, but in certain cases it is inappropiate. But it was strange that the lady teacher did not wear the veil to her interview, and then began to wear it to teach, and in the latest interview her face really was almost totally hidden as possible to make the point. I also believe that in certain professions the job cannot be carried out professionally by wearing a veil, or jeans, or long hair come to that, In such professions then ladies who wish to wear the veil, should not go for those professions, if they do not wish to abide by the dress code of that profession. You would not see a policewoman wearing a veil cause it would not be appropiate, and one has to quesion whether wearing it while teaching is appropiate as well. One would not be allowed to wear it coming through immigration either. The lady teacher is just trying to make a point, and I believe she has a very weak case in that profession. She is obviously not going to become a policewoman. You don't see city professionals wearing jeans, "one has to conform to ones profession and dress accordingly"! When in Rome! This dress code for professions most probably applies not just here but in Eastern countries as well. Do you think the Chinese government would accept security guards wearing veils, jeans or long hair - NO COMPLIANCE - NO JOB. | guru11
