I have seen them clunes and they are not rollovers I initially thought at the start of the recent rise that II was involved and they would declare once over 3% if they had finished buying, but maybe we have a couple of II's buying who have not finished buying and have not reached 3% . Just a thought.

We will find out shortly one way or the other though IMHO.

Anyone else noticed that 4 chunks of 34500 shares have gone through in the last hour as buys that is heading for £100,000, could this be a stakeholder building a holding?

They roughly equate to AT trades of £25,000 a time - does anyone else read anything into this or fessing up to buying a shed load?

Out of the last 17 trading days which have underpinned this recent rise, today's volume has already beaten 7 or 8 days by 12:20, so after a slow start early this morning it looks like it will be another high volume day and the buyers have started to come out to play. I would have been mildly concerned if volume had suddenly dropped off hence some rapid trading today after looking at the early volume but now feeling confident going into the weekend. The tree shake makes sense, a few of us have now made decent money off VOG and more to come hopefully.

As regards the holdings I just think we have had a small influx of new investors and LTH such as myself adding/averaging down.

With so few shares in issue doesn't take much to raise or drop the price ATM.

Just been checking and it appears just under 20% held by major investors, what I do not understand is that with all the relatively high levels of trading on VOG, we have had no announcements about breaches of the 3% holding or notification of a major individual or shareholder taking an interest. It can therefore mean that the long termers are holding on tight to their shares.

Trading volumes are picking up after a slow start this morning and a little buying pressure as it bounced around the mid 68p, now hoping that will recover back to the opening price by the end of the day, lack of news may stop us ending in the blue, we'll see.

Exciting times.

Well that was quicker than I expected, added 25% more to VOG holding thanks to SOLO and AEX, I hope the tree shake is over!

I expected the tree shake as mentioned above, VOG unlikely to release an RNS on a Monday, the question is will the buyers come back to hold over the weekend just in case?

Just checked and we are about 120 days from the next AGM - now that should be an interesting event, last year end of June.

Fatnacker, for me it is all about the timing and content of the next RNS, if that is delayed I have a feeling we'll flatline and slightly fall, especially as the strong volume has now dropped off, which just may be the day traders moving else where for a while. However, if it is a good RNS it could easily take us to 100p and beyond because VOG remains undervalued and when you think AEX got over £250m market cap with a cash flow of $1m a month @ $3,000 a mmcf, little cash, plus long routes to market for their possible new discoveries. VOG is still the place to be in my view and remains my largest holding, just glad to have participated in the recent ride, as you know I stepped out for a few days and almost missed it.

So the key to the next leg up is likely the arrival of the next RNS - but when?
