18/1/2017 09:22 | Cameroons a huge exporter, as far as I know there's no barriers against export, imports another story. | fatnacker
17/1/2017 21:13 | The need is there. If we develop The big licence area will the Cameroon government let us export it or will it be captive to Cameroon.... | broncowarrior
17/1/2017 14:43 | maybe of some interest: (Ecofin Agency) - The latest industry data on sector reforms and activities have revealed that the collapse of seven power plants across Nigeria has resulted in a total electricity load loss of 1, 899.7 Megawatts. This report indicated that four out of this plants owned by the National Integrated Power Projects were shutdown, while the remaining have been functional for days. “Partial collapse occurred on January 12, 2017. At 8:41hours, system frequency dropped from 51Hz to 43Hz. Lagos, Osogbo, Jebba, Kainji and Shiroro lost supply, while other areas survived. The total load loss was 1,899.7MW. As of 6am on January 13, the following plants were still shut down: Geregu NIPP and Sapele NIPP, in addition to the plants previously reported as shut down. Plants previously reported as shut down include Alaoji NIPP, Ihovbor NIPP and Gbarain,” it stated. It added that gas constraint accounted for 2,680MW, while grid and water management constraints were both zero megawatt. Due to this constraints, the power sector lost an estimated N1.358bn, Punch news reports. Nigeria has been witnessing poor power supply which have crippled industry sectors and affected households in the country. This situations have been blamed on lack of adequate investment by electricity firms. Anita Fatunji just shows the state of power supplies in Africa | omega1525

16/1/2017 14:11 | Aminex (AEX) are not the same AEX that have a share in the Matanda license with us are they ? | highasakite
16/1/2017 13:38 | If AEX and Solo can be considered as being the same genre as VOG in that they are explorers and gas/condensate producers, VOG must be heading towards a re-rating given its much higher revenues and that it also a utility with much higher margins on sales. AEX now almost three times VOG market cap and Solo close to parity, this is insanely divergent from VOG's asset and potential value. Roll on an update by the end of the month and any other news that might wake the market up so that analysts and investors can smell the coffee!! | clunes100

15/1/2017 12:31 | Just off the phone to my broker, he said SELL Vog as the contract is not being renewed, I asked which contract, he said ENEO. I asked, is that Vog finished then? He said, basically - yes. | mr maestro

13/1/2017 15:25 | It means that it has an expanding forward order book because it is the only provider in an expanding market desperate for reliable energy for both business and retail. I added today! | clunes100

13/1/2017 13:17 | this is a utility company. | deanroberthunt
13/1/2017 12:40 | They have just started to produce a little bit of gas at $3 per msf, I can't remember what their revenue is but $1m per month sticks in my mind. Even SOLO their minnow of a partner is now worth £27m. We need some good news and general PR from the VOG BoD so that we can better ride the recent recovery in oil price and sentiment for AIM oilers. Roll on a positive update by the end of the month and we may be able to join the party. | clunes100
13/1/2017 12:37 | we'll have terraformed Mars before AEX find a barrel of anything.... | deanroberthunt
13/1/2017 11:50 | Are AEX a producer at all or purely exploration ? | highasakite
13/1/2017 11:46 | Just looking at AEX and their market cap of £87m compared to our £38m, I just do not know how the market can justify a difference of £50m between these two companies. It also suggests that the spring on VOG must be fairly tightly coiled, so roll on some good news which removes some of the risks and uncertainties that appear to be holding vOG back. | clunes100
