Venue Solutions Holdings PLC (the "Company")
Re: Company Voluntary Arrangement
Further to the announcement on 23 June 2009 regarding the Company's Corporate
Restructuring and Company Voluntary Arrangement ("CVA"), at yesterday's
meetings, separately of creditors and shareholders of the Company, approval was
given to the proposed CVA with all proposals of the arrangement accepted.
Accordingly the Company will now proceed with the CVA and will notify
shareholders again on completion of this arrangement.
Oliver Iny, Chief Executive, commented:
"The CVA is one of a range of measures designed to place the Company on solid
footing. This follows from our success in winning the case to overturn the
bankruptcy of YourDay Inc, which finally puts us in control of the company and
its technology.
"Further measures are in train to augment the commercial merits of Venue
Solutions. The shares are still suspended. Further details will be announced
when we have finalised these additional short term plans."
