Even if we apply the current (lousy)prospective P/E to the 2007 forecast we get 23p-14.75 divided by 1.17 times 1.82p. Feel that VIG at the very least deserves a prospective rating of 17 times in line with the market which would mean, 31p.

I feel that the introduction of a dividend will help-I know that they don't have the distributable reserves nevertheless feel that it will definitely be announced with the results. I appreciate they will have to go to Court to get approval!!

It's very much a feature of VIG that there are bouts of sudden sharp increases followed by long periods of protacted silence. Nevertheless expect a sharp pickup in price before 6 April results are released!!

Yes - not long to results. If the story is confirmed then I believe we will be able to shake off the current sub P/E 10 rating which means a minimum 20p share price.

I know. However there is more than one big Buyer around as recent Buyer wasn't PG. Feel that share price should make further progress between now and the results on 6 April though

Looks likely that the next move will be to 20p as a flag formation on the weekly chart with a count to that level.Thought that PG might be back with the buying last Thursday but RNS has not confirmed that

Technically as per RSI and Bollinger Bands,looks good for a (measured)move from current levels to 18p near term

May have started heading north again after yesterday's chunky purchase the bid has firmed from 12p to 12.5p. In any event expect share price to be a lot higher when the results are released on 6 April and I also expect a 0.2p dividend even though the Company will have to go to Court to allow it as they don't have the distributable reserves. If you remember they announced with their last set of results that they intended to start a progressive dividend policy

A 50% technical retracement from early Dec when acquisition announced to recent high, next stop 18p on a measured move?!

Somebody lobbed 65k out at 12p this morning.

Still no clarification about who sold all those shares to PG a few months back. Guess we'll have to wait for the AR to find that out.

The spread has narrowed to just 0.5p-13.5/14.0 and it looks as though a MM is executing a buy order. Ordinarily the bid price would have been marked down after the selling in recent days

A sale of 45k VIG shares at 13p and maybe the MMs will mark down the stock from 13.5/15 to 12.5/14 effectively unwinding VIG's overbought position so we can move back up again!

Thanks Des-Interesting article. I expect VIG to start moving back up again at the end of Feb/beginning of March with their full year results due for release approx 6 April

Interesting stats about the shoe market. They see growth and hopefully we will too.

Hi EJ-I just wondered whether the Person posting there originated from this site. I can't remember the last time I visited that site but I will now register there and post a few messages to see if we can't generate some interest together.Like Motley Fool(or more like the Value thread) don't hold iii in very high regard
