We all know from a recent post that VS is annoyed with one, or more shareholders for publishing information from one of their calls. So I suspect he has probably had his knuckles wrapped and therefore is going to be much more guarded and elusive from now on in.

However, given the quantity of shares held by the shareholders on this thread it is his duty to speak to someone representing those shareholders.

Johnspain - Yes you are right, if there is imminent news a BOD would quite rightly avoid calls!

Correction - can now buy the whole 100k at 10.5 so any trades at that price are buys not sells :)

Can still buy 50k at 10.74 (below mid so any buys would show as sells - another sneaky trick!) and 100k at 10.95 even though the offer has increased to 11.5 - sell only 10k at 10p :)

when a previously talkative ceo (or whatever) suddenly clams up, but says 'call back at ..' it implies to me that there is news about to happen and he is being very careful not to give anything away.
