Large speculative buyer at 117,348? That's a tiny amount of shares, AKA a punt.

The two 3 million sells now showing from yesterday are the strange ones.

Hopefully the last of a large seller gone and we can move up.

I presume the largest speculative buyer this morning expecting a bounce did not stay.

117,348 bought @3.398p sold @ 3.325p

How can you say the only large speculator sold out especially when researchanalyst said there has been a very large buy order(s) recently and you don't know whether this recent large buyer has sold?

I have been topping up for weeks, so 2p would not be of any interest to me.

This has gone down due to inpatient investors as I said earlier in my opinion who seem to equate delay with failure!

Well you clearly hope to top up in the 2's! Hence your post!

No bounce and no confidence, even the only large speculator on a bounce sold out at a loss.Investors did not take too kindly to the posting of the social media pics, without some sort of explanation, on top of the continued delay with Wick. Delays at Wick and the NIMBY brigade at Wressle may be put down to bad luck but as I my bank manager used to say to me during bad times, you make your own luck. Lets hope good news is around the corner, or we will be topping up in the 2ps.

Always thought Sarawak would be the area we'd try to get hold of some producing assets, it would balance off the other assets, and always felt it would be a priority for the team. There may be some accelerated changes in Sarawak with the taxation issue or larger producers just looking to exit aging fields they feel would be more marginal for them under the new regime. Who knows what will happen, but Steve has always stressed that many different types of deals are open to them. However, even if no deals of that sort are forthcoming, we're still in fantastic shape there, local companies and those linked with local companies given priority when new acreage comes up, we're in a unique position for a Western company, in a renowned oil bearing area filled with opportunity.

Soulsauce,

I don't have the first clue. But just because they had a positive meeting with Petronas doesn't mean there will be a related RNS this week....

The type of deal they were discussing was along the lines of:

We would like to bid for a, b, c and x y z.

Here is our technical team and these are our finances.

Let us know in December if we have been successful on any or all of our bids...

Possibly soul, depends on the type of deal they were discussing. At the end of the day though, Steve's motivation for it all, shareholder value.

Would be a shame to miss out on an opening price 50 percent higher cause we were temporarily out! Then there's the build to spud and potential rewards there, way too big to be sitting at this level as that gets ever closer

Anybody think after the meeting and with the finance guy involved we might have had to start tapping out the warrants?

Detailed discussions at a meeting would unlikely be followed immediately by an RNS, much more likely to fly home, finalize, and someday soon.... Bingo!
