Hello mate,there cannot be many members of a BB thats contributions rely on a Sofa, visis to M and S and R and R. Still one has to keep a sense of humour, even though I may ;lack a little discipline on the patience side of things, at times. Back to the buying,come on lets do it.

Oh for the days of barely a comment a day, buying at 1.1p and a core holding for 3 years without having to whine once about it. No one got stressed about 25-50% retraces. Hardly anyone wondered where is everybody? No disrespect, but seems the latest so called investment crew can't stomach holding for 6 months without crying for news. Learn to exercise patience. If you want to keep rotating money in and out of the next hot thing, don't expect every company you buy stock in to accommodate your short term investment strategy.

I hear you. I guess I'm always reminded of Warren Buffet saying something along the lines of: "If you aren't prepared to hold a stock for 10 years, then it's probably not worth holding". That's my mantra, as he's done alright for himself.

It's not often you set out to
hold a oil stock for longevity.
I agree sometimes it just happens
but I would never try to guess what
this stock would end up in 3 years.
I held GKP years ago, but only for
2 years and that wasn't planned

You mention people don't hold oil shares for 3 years? I first bought this just over 1p in January 2016. I'm currently 3x my original investment and incredibly happy with rate of return, progress of company, stability of share price and management. It's not often I can say this of a share. To be honest, only one other I've ever owned (and still do). All the best with your choices.

My question of why stating Q4
Instead of a month is being
answered now as it's already
the 17th of October and that
is a small delay , move into
NOVEMBER and the Markets will
punish this ..

Shares, yes, I was looking at news later today, but suspect tomorrow morning reference the permit.. Tunisia news will follow on very quickly, sometimes it’s advantageous to step back and look at the bigger picture instead of our own personal situations.. don’t shoot me down, just watch and thank me later..

So sell for the time being and buy into a share that you feel has more excitement. Keep an eye here for when you think things are picking up and buy back in again. What's the problem?

But how many posters on here were giving
me ear ache because I was suspicious about
drilling by the end of Sept, I was told by
UPL If not it would only be a small delay.
For me that's a few weeks not end of year.
Yes my posting becomes more direct and less
tactful when the audience reflects this.
I don't see why I should sell based on
these views, it's a easy way to get rid
of a poster who can see both positive and
negative things happening, as I keep saying
the Sp was 30% higher than it is today 6
Months ago......
There is no excitement here or demand and
is not exactly on fire here with the BB.
The PR is rubbish and we have missed a
timeline already , newsflow is minimal
and the BOD seem happy with that....
