tyler90: I would love to believe you but they are testing many investors patience
uploader: Fraud is written all over this company. Get out while you can before it's too late. Why do you think the directors and cornerstone investors are happy to see the share price fall ? Take a look at who is on the board, they will certainly not be the losers here.Unfortunately eve since Staley left the company has gone to pot. Those who think he was forced out are absolutely wrong. I'm sure he'll be happy to explain his reasons forLeaving if you were to contact him
dandadandan: Bought in here for the Gas but the BoD seem to be sleepers. Low share price means it cannot get much lower. Met some ex BP guys (pre Covid), who told me what UPL was sitting on in Tunisia after that failure in Scotland. Crazy low Mcap. The BoD cannot 'sit on their hands' much longer. Lots of LTH investors are under water and just waiting for some action. It must be time for some activity or are they planning on selling the lots for a big fat profit? (Is there a nice fat fee for the City M & A experts waiting to be had? ). DDDD.
lcwanderer: Let's be honest, it hasn't been one for investors either
tyler90: Just studying the report more closely, the loss was £719,364 predominantly administrative expenses...the company had 2 placings this year, one in February and one in July of £250k & £470k respectively which add up to £720,000 (a coincidence?)Shareholders do not mind directors and staff being paid well but as long as there is appreciation in the share price or a dividend. In this case investors do not expect a dividend but an appreciation in the share price which clearly has not happened during the 12 months covered by the reportI hope we can expect a very positive update from Saouaf very soon so that investors minds can be focused away from the nearly £14k a week needed to run the company
tyler90: The company and its PR consultants may not appreciate this close scrutiny but to rebuild the trust with shareholders and to gain new investors there is a need for regular transparent updates. RNS' cost money so even if the broker, Optiva, or the PR team put out a short statement that things are going as planned then that would reassure shareholders
yogaboy: richsif, on this particular occasion, it appears that two UK resident directors and a lawyer disagree with you. Anyway, it's a moot point as I have just received notification that the recording has been published on the Company website. If that is so, then the issue is closed. Thanks to those who reacted positively to my efforts bring the issue out into the public domain, and to those who did not, I wish you all the best with your investments too. Peace, fellow investors.
tyler90: I recall them talking about a large player 'breathing down our necks" but not "that UPL would not need to raise more funds before the end of the year."If the play is as significant as they think then why would large players not be interested? and if it is an asset enhancing find then further funds to explore/develop would be required and would not spook investors IMO
tyler90: All views are valid but one thing I came away with was that this lot are genuine but a bit rough around the edges. Don't think they are out to deceive investors but at the same time need to be tough enough to not be deceived themselves. I think the assets will be their saviours. If Tunisia turns out as they are hoping it will then the share price will take care of itself and the board will get better and more confident with a successful project under their belt
tyler90: Look at the last RNS. They have Optiva Securities as broker, Flowcomms as Investor Relations and FTI consulting as Financial PR. Ffs what are all these 3 doing apart from draining investor funds?Posters had to correct mistakes on the latest web pages too. This might not be an AIM listed stock (no disrespect to some very well run AIM companies) but it sure is beginning to exhibit all the hallmarks of an unprofessional outfit Answers needed from the board ASAP please
