13/4/2007 12:10 | Always nice when a sleeping stock springs back to life. Hopefully this is the start of the next leg up. | hattori_hanzo
13/4/2007 09:28 | No. 4 on toplist, perhaps some VML profits moving to UEP, not much volume though so could be anything. Why has the chart got stuck? | jimbobgr
13/4/2007 09:20 | Missed this one this morning...... | roks
13/4/2007 08:54 | Thought I would post That summary I did back in UMC energy acquired the properties by issuing CMK (owners of 80% of the property, the balance being held by OMNIS, Madagascan Government) with a 40% stake in UMC Energy as payment. That was concluded this year but we have been told that they company advanced money to CMK in the form of a loan so that exploration could begin on the project as early as September/October. FOLKARA DISTRICT - 1 Permit of 8 - 83,000 metres of drilling - 400 tons of uranium drilled off - 7000 anomolies -I believe Pan African Mining (TSX-V PAF) are also exploring for uranium nearby and they have recently reported high grade results from other areas of madagascar -CURRENTLY AWAITING, Analysis of historic drilling data from Folkara District as well as results from drilling on that site for comparison with reported grades MACKAY DISTRICT - 7 Permits of 8 - No known exploration - Apparently considered highly prospective. - CURRENTLY AWAITING, News of airborne survey over the Mackay District RECENT EVENTS -Investika who share management with UMC Energy and could be considered a parent company increased their stake recently -RAB have reported today that they have increased their stake. -The company has announced that it plans to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange in the past month. A process that apparently takes about 6-8 weeks after application. -The company has also recently appointed a new director with experience in finance. MISC. -There is minimal free float available at the moment, it appears to be about 8% - The final report of the IAEA and International Uranium Resources Evaluation Project ("IUREP") states, "The Karoo system of Madagascar is considered to have the potential for several moderately sized sedimentary sandstone types deposits (i.e. 5,000-10,000 tonnes U each)" (Meyer and Brinck, 1984, p.110.)" - Permits cover 9,994 Sq. km - UMC Energy should have sufficient capital for completion of first and second phases of exploration. TSX listing therefore seems to be primarily for access to higher valuations of U stocks in Canada or possibly another project which is not out of the question. I think that is about as good a summary I can muster, if you want me to edit something in or out then say! | jimbobgr
13/4/2007 08:47 | Would like some more U308 stocks, but looking at choices. I like UEP but we have a little time IMO freedosh | freedosh
13/4/2007 08:44 | U still building Freedosh or are u up to your target? | jimbobgr
13/4/2007 08:44 | I think RRR is worth keeping an eye on, I do hold them and there is expected to be a lot going on this year, production expected to start with Manganese, plus spin off with the Uranium assets. DYOR. | graylyn
13/4/2007 08:40 | Compensates for another typical day at the Pantheon office! Along with VML, that is. freedosh | freedosh

12/4/2007 18:49 | JimbobGR Hi I`ll keep on eye on AFE might be interesting? I hold RRR, UEP, VML, IGH, SER If you are into oil SER Very undervalued little company, financing and annual results "Very Soon" mkt cap around £6m just over 100m shares in issue, results expected to show a pre-tax profit from oil produced and they have Huge acreage with CBM potential, and yes you read that correctly mkt cap around £6m for an oil producer! in safe old U.S. DYOR. | graylyn
12/4/2007 14:29 | Was looking around related companies and found that Pan African Mining has announced a joint venture with AFE but they have not announced yet. The company also has strong buy ratings by seymour pierce and evolution with targets of 17p and 22p. Just had a quick look and it looks like a reasonable company. I know its not uranium related but just chanced apon it. | jimbobgr
11/4/2007 13:44 | This really is one of the least actively traded shares I know of. | jimbobgr
10/4/2007 14:11 | European nuclear revival: coming out of the closet? | graylyn

09/4/2007 14:00 | Hi HH do you know when it will be listed on TSX. Thanks nic | sllab101
09/4/2007 13:53 | Thanks to everyone for their posts & thanks to Scrooge for updating the header. Plenty of potential still here for the patient. The TSX listing should hopefully give us a bigger profile and liven things up a bit. | hattori_hanzo
08/4/2007 20:33 | Pleased the website up and running didnt look good not having one, a link from the page shows the number of trades each month, febuary was about 125 and december had been around 10. Shows that still not very well known. U price great news. EDIT: Just looked at uranium resources to compare against a similar market cap and the last two months volume of trades are about 1200 and 700 for Jan/Feb. | jimbobgr
08/4/2007 12:39 | UMC ENERGY WEB SITE NOW UP AND RUNNING! EDIT......... April 7, 2007 By Julie Ickes Mestena Auction Blows Uranium Price Past $100 Mark New Spot Uranium Price Reaches $US113/Pound The shot heard around the uranium world comes from Corpus Christi, Texas. A modest lot of 100 thousand pounds U3O8, offered by tiny privately owned Texas-based Mestena Uranium LLC, drove bidders to establish a new record spot uranium price. "The spot uranium price rose dramatically this week, jumping $18 to $113/pound U3O8, following the results of the sealed-bid auction," according to Nuclear Market Review (NMR) editor Treva Klingbiel. "This is the largest single increase since uranium prices were first reported." The spot uranium price jumped by nearly 19 percent this past week. | graylyn
08/4/2007 12:37 | Nice update Scrooge, like the picture! | graylyn
08/4/2007 07:27 | no probs Jimbob, good to see Uranium stocks having a good run. I'm surprised how long UK investors took to catch on to the uranium story, but atleast they did in the end. $$$$$ | scrooge mcduck |
