It strikes me that with £25 million on the balance sheet at the end of November. This company should have over 40% of its value in cash on the balance sheet.

Thus, it should survive a possible crash starting in the US better than most (see link below) as it does not seem expensive to me given what appear exciting prospects with it's Digital Move platform.

Having said that I have sold a sixth of my holdings as a crash, if one occurs, is often indiscriminate.

25/1/21:

Commencement of new CEO

ULS Technology plc (AIM:ULS), the provider of online platforms to support UK consumers moving home, announces that the new Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), Jesper With-Fogstrup, has now commenced his role at the Company.

As previously announced, Jesper has over 20 years’ experience within digital and technology businesses, joining the Company from HSBC where he was Global Head of Digital as a Channel, prior to which he was COO of Comparethemarket.com.

Current trading conditions remain buoyant with a large number of instructions in the pipeline looking to complete in this quarter. The Company continues to have a healthy balance sheet with zero debt and substantial cash balances following the £27m Disposal of Conveyancing Alliance Limited in November 2020.

Martin Rowland, Non-Executive Chairman, commented:

"We are delighted that Jesper has now started his role at the Company. His knowledge base and experience will be invaluable as we develop our platform. This is a pivotal moment in our trajectory, and we look forward to working with Jesper as he develops our proposition and growth opportunities.

Today, there were 3 big trades 595k + two 200k trades (around 1.5% of company shares) between 12-1pm. Price seems up to day, has that cleared an overhang ?

Should the future prove less brutal for its borrowing clients than the market currently anticipates, the share price could swiftly recover back to previous highs and a doubling from the current level looks achievable over the next 12 months.

If it continues to languish, an acquirer may pounce.

Thanks. Gresham and Kestrel are a potent bunch and the recent Gresham interview summarises events well. Pleased to have had the opportunity to come on board as I wasnt anticipating getting the chance so quickly

Suspect take over is unlikely unless offer is well over 100p.

Can't see them being taken over in the meantime.
Kestrel own about 28% and they do not go for a quick flip.

They will be looking to a future bigger profit when the technology is much more developed.

StudentInvestor13 - who knows ? It is always possible and there will be many other companies out there where ULS would make a synergetic fit. The company has a very strong institutional base and any predator would have to get Kestrel and Schroders on board - who together hold almost 40% - to make a move. I think that most investors and the BoD would probably like to realize incremental value by exploiting their their existing situation over another year or two but that's just my own view.

Profit taking but we will recover, prospects going forward are strong with this one and that's what matters. Nice top up.
