31/1/2017 15:57 | Just bought 100k @ 2.1 and that served to tighten the quote. | mudbath
31/1/2017 13:42 | No quote on line at 2p. Currently trying to buy 100k through my broker. Nobby | nobbygnome
31/1/2017 11:28 | This drop should generate some buying interest. 2p on the offer. | michaelsadvfn
31/1/2017 10:01 | Buys/sells are about even for the month of January although the paltry level of volume gives us no indication of anything positive or negative in the offing. I'm sitting tight. | michaelsadvfn
31/1/2017 09:56 | Hi mudbath. I can't find any recent Twittering over Tyratech, perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place? A decent trading update would do wonders for the sp, no doubt. After Allenby's September downgrade Tyratech are only expected to produce $4m in the 2nd half. Much will depend on whether the unexpected drop in the head lice population reversed after their note. There's plenty to look forward to this year, not least the AH side of the business which should start generating income. That's Jose Barella's field so I would expect some action there sooner rather than later. | michaelsadvfn
31/1/2017 09:38 | Well it looks as though the Twitter pumpers are focusing on TYRU today in the hope of generating some of that volume michaelsadvfn ; so far though without any success. Like Guinness, a good trading update could work wonders. | mudbath
25/1/2017 10:34 | Agreed mudbath but this share is going nowhere without volume and we aren't going to get that without an update. Come on management, let's be 'avin it. | michaelsadvfn
24/1/2017 09:39 | I was just going to post that the MMs were bidding 1.85 for 500k TYRU shares, but I see that the spread has now narrowed.A small premium for sellers remains available. Imo this is more positive than for a few weeks. | mudbath
20/1/2017 11:20 | Thanks for your input timbo003. Any trading update(Feb 1st last year)might be only a couple of weeks away. I believe the BOD will ensure that it is somewhat upbeat;for a share price dragging along the very bottom of its trading range is not a good advert for a company trying to establish itself across the globe.imo. | mudbath
17/1/2017 22:57 | The link to the program (Save Money: Good Health Series 1 - Episode 3) is here Also see the links to Vamousse and Puressentiel from the Boots healthcounter site: Vamousse contains 2 solvents (isopropyl myristate and isopropanol) which are the principle actives, the mechanism of action is two fold (1) the solvents dissolve/soften the wax/exoskeleton of the lice (2) they cause dehydration of the lice via an osmotic effect. Puressentiel contains no solvents (as far as I can ascertain), so presumably it has to rely on the toxicity of the essential oils within the formulation It's worth noting that the claim for Vamousse is that it kills 100% of lice and 100% of eggs within 15 minutes: whereas (according to the program), the manufacturer of Puressentiel state state that their product kills only 80% of lice and 98% of eggs (time frame not given). | timbo003
17/1/2017 22:14 | I watched the TV programme and thought it a bit poor. They compared silicone/plant oils and an insecticide. It's been known for a long time that certain oils have some insecticidal properties. On their own you need high concentrations and even then they're not very good as seen in the film. Tyratech have shown that there is a synergistic action between plant oils and in the correct combination at low concentrations they're very effective. I'm surprised the scientist didn't consider Vamousse. | serratia
17/1/2017 20:23 | Although not mentioned,I would rate the airing as bullish, for it called into question the efficacy of a main contender to Vamousse. | mudbath
12/1/2017 19:12 | Hello "michaels" my dear friend. How's it going here? Still around 2p I see. Meanwhile, over at Randgold Resources (RRS) we've been making money by the bucketload, trading the swings and buying the dips. It's all been good fun you know. Gold is now over $1200 (remember my physical purchase at $1180?) and RRS peaked at £68.70 today (remember I bought a chunk at £54.25 a month or so back?). Yes, happy days my friend. Can't say the same here though. Have a nice evening. | professor pettigrew
11/1/2017 14:52 | You are correct corrientes;ITV next Tuesday at 7.30 pm. It will probably be insipid fair though,if their normal chatty fact free format is deployed. 2.125 to buy and cannot sell any is the current state of play. | mudbath
11/1/2017 14:40 | I think there is a weekly consumer affairs programme every week on one of the major Channels, and if I heard correctly, hair lice remedies was mentioned as part of next week's show, but I may have been mistaken. I was flipping channels last night, so it would be next Tuesday if so. | corrientes
06/1/2017 15:06 | Strange price movement today. At least the price shown now is realistic as the minimum offered price for any size is 2.375p. Nobby | nobbygnome
06/1/2017 11:11 | Just flipped 100k TYR for TYRU. Ta very much. | michaelsadvfn
04/1/2017 15:23 | LOL. Good thinking although it would require me to remember at 6 every morning which half I treated! Nobby | nobbygnome
04/1/2017 15:18 | As part of a controlled experiment you're surely going to treat only half of your scalp? ;) | greedfear
04/1/2017 14:59 | Sorry one more post. I have just looked up other European Amazon sites and Vamousse was listed on all the ones I tried so Germany, France, Italy and Spain. So michael perhaps you ought to update the header...... Seriously though, good to see they are opening other distribution avenues. Nobby | nobbygnome
04/1/2017 14:32 | Incidentally we also field tested the Guardian Backyard product as well last Summer. I don't get bitten but my wife is particularly susceptible. The good news now is that she didn't get bitten on the 3 or 4 occasions she applied it but of course you don't know if she would have been without it! I told her to do one leg with and one without as a controlled experiment but she didn't like that idea! Nobby | nobbygnome
04/1/2017 14:28 | The shampoo is on offer on Amazon with a single bottle costing £8 so I purchased one! I read in one of the reviews that it was good for an itchy scalp and as I do have a few scalp problems, I decided to give it a go. I will report back.... Nobby | nobbygnome
04/1/2017 11:48 | Stuck at 2.0/2.20 for now. Why they put the offer up to 2.5p, creating an artificial spread, is a mystery to me. A 20% spread is a deterrent to many punters. | michaelsadvfn
03/1/2017 14:19 | Hopefully they can get sufficient resources to exploit all these different markets. The fact that they have all these potential opportunities and significant turnover already highlights the ridiculous market cap. Yes the fly in the ointment is that the company is not yet cash flow psositive but hopefully that is not far away. Good to see both the bid and offer move upwards. It is a while since 2.5p was the offer price. As we all know the price here can move very quickly (both ways!) when a bit of momentum builds. Nobby | nobbygnome
03/1/2017 13:50 | Happy New Year to all. michael/mud As much as I love the thought of dominating a domestic pet care market, the true 'Jewel in the Crown' will be the PureScience brand taking market share in controlling pests in animal production. Let's hope we will be successful at/in both. PureScience was launched in 2016 to address the need for safe, non-toxic insect and parasite control solutions in animal health. Poultry production facilities are the primary target of PureScience products, offering premise treatments to control the pests that decrease productivity and cause loss within food supply operations. TyraTech leverages its patented green technology to provide alternatives to traditional synthetic pesticides. PureScience utilizes nature-based actives to control insects and parasites in a way that is safe for use around people and animals within the food supply. 2017 is going to be a good year GLA ferris | ferris_bueller |
