Crazy gap between TYR and TYRU prices. Can't understand for one minute why people are buying TYRU at a huge premium - they are both the same share!! Suggests very short term traders, rather than investors. And when profit taking begins at TYRU the price will quickly drop to match TYR.

That's because of the new trading range imv. I could see this happening once we broke 10p...huge demand, no stock, punters chase it up. Wonderful.

Just tried to buy a chunk of TYR but there is nothing offered at the moment in any size. The MMS are clearly caught and short....

Nobby,
That's funny. I can trade it as normal on Halifax.

It is because that stock is only quoted in the US and does not settle through CREST. Clearly that is an issue which holds it back. But there should not be a 50% differential.........

No rampers, no trolls just a good old fashioned rise on genuine expectations for a good portfolio of products

About 5% of the TYRUs traded already this morning. This week there must have been 20%+ changing hands. Amazing. Previously we would be lucky if there was 5 trades a day.

The two classes are one and the same so it is a true differential. The reason TYR is lower is probably because the recent fund raising was done in TYR shares so there have been a few sellers. Of course it is more difficult to buy TYR but you would have thought the MMs would prevent this difference. They will equalise at some point although of course TYRU may come back to TYR rather than the other way round. No sign of it at the moment though!

Incredible rise, yes.
There was always a great story here, it was just a matter of bringing it to everyone's attention and the Midas article has done just that!!

No guessing where the top is. I'm on a free ride now so I'll just sit on them.

Your comment prompted me to look at the 3 year chart. From a TA point of view for both TYR and TYRU there is now blue sky up to 20-21p if we close at or above the current level. It would be somewhat amazing if it got that high in the short term but that is what the chart is saying could happen!

Managed to buy a few more TYR in my spreadbet just before it moved. The move in TYRU really is astonishing.

The differential between TYR and TYRU is becoming even more ridiculous. You have to suspect that TYRU will come back at some point but at present it doesn't make any sense.

Amazing rise again today and if anything the differential with TYR is widening. It is very strange that people will pay 11.5p when they could be paying 8.5p just by filling in a form.

Anyone know where you can spread bet TYRU as this is an opportunity to make a vast sum of money. I have a spread bet in TYR with Spreadex but they don't do TYRU.

TIA

We haven't been at this level since March 2012 which has got me thinking about available stock as we are in a new trading range.

Still quite some buying interest and little profit taking.

bozzy_s,

Nice to see someone at least make the effort to research this company.

I came to the conclusion that the telling news here started with the appointment of Bruno Jactel back in January 2013. It was surely him with his contacts that got American Vanguard to come on board with a 29.4% stake. A.V. obviously saw the potential. So too did Novartis who spent 9 months testing their products before announcing the distribution deal back in August(we might just wake up to a blockbuster of an RNS one day on that one).

There's some dilution on the way( there was always going to be a fundraise at some point with sales not kicking in until the(head lice) season starts). At least the money is going to be put to good use instead of going on 'working capital'). We can't rule out further dilution but if sales take off it may not be required.

I do like to see management supporting the company with share purchases and it's well worth noting how Alan Reade has built up a sizeable stake. It says a lot.

2014 could well be Tyratech's year.

I have the graphs from a couple of studies somewhere and if I find them I will post the details. However, I suspect I am wasting my time as clearly you are too risk adverse to be investing in a company like TYR.

Each to their own.
