06/8/2014 14:24 | ga I should say I made inquiries in the right area re terminix and it seems the message was that brand deal is no more. | gemferret
06/8/2014 14:23 | ga I've been pondering over that one and have more or less found out the terminix brand deal is extinct. It didn't make sense re Novartis on the same product. They need to update their website to reflect this. Then what about the Amvac deal and envance, that's under the terminix brand. The company need to clarify what is going on there. Isn't Amvac by far the largest shareholder too, personally I want to know WTF is going on with AMVAC/ENVANCE/TERMIN If it's all now Novartis then say so and stop the confusion. Mr Reade Quoted envance recently but that is advertising the terminix brand. ???? confused.com | gemferret
06/8/2014 12:27 | Its very strong boots take it on IMHO option as well if you search for terminx at home depo you will find some of our products with a review..but you cannot buy anymore..It's off the website just going to be a little conservative and wait for confirmation | ga11amar
06/8/2014 12:17 | The real answer to Harold comes from Boots and Superdrug. They have decided to rapidly stock the product so they clearly don't think it is overpriced. Boots in particular are a very conservative slow moving organisation and yet they took Vamousse out of the normal cycle of ordering. That is highly significant IMHO! So would you rather trust the buyers at Boots or our resident expert Harold..... Nobby | nobbygnome
06/8/2014 12:12 | OT >> sidam If you are still reading this thread can I ask your current opinion on Naibu which you highlighted a while ago. On the face of it the share is now fantastic value........unless it is all a big fraud! TIA Nobby | nobbygnome
05/8/2014 14:18 | think i agree, we seem to have a pause waiting for more information u may miss out on 20% but sounds like a safer option than jumping in | ga11amar
05/8/2014 11:21 | at 10£ = 40£ per family of 4 for a single treatment. better than the 60£ rrp. what will it be post promotion though? i think people will try it. if their lousy kids get re infected they might go back to the cheaper products or get it from their gp or free alternative products under minor ailments scheme. waiting for the sales figures to see whats really going on in the states. | haroldthegreat
05/8/2014 10:42 | zelder. Thanks. Superdrug are showing it on promotion at £9.89. "Normal price" £14.99. Slightly smaller (160ml vs 177ml) quantity than sold in the US. 2 more positive reviews on Amazon (latest Aug 3) | hashertu
04/8/2014 19:37 | ga11amar- That's what they have just gone on superdrug.com for. Not sure about the 'was' price? Maybe they mean RRP.... www.superdrug.com/se | zelder
04/8/2014 19:05 | giving them an oil rub is the last thing on my mind :) | ga11amar
04/8/2014 18:23 | harold the great does raise some interesting questions i searched home depot and walmart for terminix. Home depot has 2 products, walmart one, given the range is larger i am not sure if they have not stocked them.or destocked them. In either case the revenue from annual reports is not great. 1) hxxp://www.homedepot 2) hxxp://www.walmart.c with regard to vamousse. In uk you can see "full marks" product in boots; 10min treatment using dehydration (non toxic),17 quid a bottle with enough for 6 treatments. To an uninformed consumer the only advantage i see on vamousse is the 100% effective. Also the 100% effective claim worrys me, if people dont use it right it wont be 100% effective and you can imagine the comments. In short my worry is they have great products..but no marketing budget. Many consumers do not overthink it. The key for me will be a) what is recommendation of chemists in boots etc b) will vamousse be peer tested in kids mags e.g free publicity There are many great products out there but people do need to know about them - with our market cap do we have the resources to tell people? The novartis deal seems more interesting as they are consumer is probably more bothered about chemicals and having to move animals. In all honesty i dont really care about fly/wasp spray..i use it once in a blue moon. Sometimes i think i want em dead and dont really care about the chemicals..in a strange way its a good thing ( get the job done) | ga11amar
04/8/2014 18:03 | zelder can i ask where you get the pricing from. it's a very good spot | ga11amar
03/8/2014 20:25 | In the Uk the Vamousse head lice treatment is £9.89 for a 160ml bottle. The Vamousse protection shampoo is £6.59 for a 200ml bottle. The head lice treatment is excellently priced compared to competitors in the market and miles quicker in killing 100% of lice and eggs in only 15 minutes as well as being SAFE to use on children as young as 2 years old. Sure to be a winner, imo. | zelder
03/8/2014 19:12 | have a look at tip tv note he will not say what the price is for vamousse in the uk.WHY NOT he must know !. he also admits in the uk we use 50% deet whereas in the states its only 15% hxxp://www.tiptv.co. he has made a good choice in choosing ceuta to sell his products into the trade as they have a good relationship with pharmacists and handle a wide range of products . | haroldthegreat
02/8/2014 17:04 | Thanks guys,will do some further enquiries. | ashtree2
02/8/2014 08:40 | Ash tree Can I help. In theory, TYR can be converted to TYRU by the public once the shares have been issued for one year. However, it is my understanding that in practice these can only be converted when the company through its registrars offers the opportunity. The last time was earlier this year. It took a couple of months for the new certificates to be issued. That offer was made to all share holders. In my view - If your broker did not tell you that it was offered, you should complain to them through their compliance and insist that, at their cost, they change the shares. | sidam
02/8/2014 06:47 | Gecko,So far had no success in converting my shares tyr that I have with svs ,always seems to be delayed so would be interested to know how you have managed it.I do have a Interactive Investor account also but don't use it much of late.As a result I have been buying tyru on my svs account which as you say doesn't make much sense if they can be converted.cheers ash | ashtree2
01/8/2014 23:38 | Harold i find it difficult to understand the purpose of your posts. If you did any research you would know what im talking about. Look at the past RNS statements. | gekko68
01/8/2014 23:01 | gekko68 do you mean their products rather than there products and do you mean were no 3 rather than where no 3 i find it difficult to understand your ramping. | haroldthegreat
01/8/2014 18:50 | Yes i agree, there are not many stocks that allow you to convert into the more expensive stock & gain around %20 or more. There products will go on sale in boots & supper drug in the next few weeks. Might get a update on sales in the US when this happens. There head-lice products where number 3 out of 16. Not bad going considering there products have only been on sale for around 3 months in walmart. | gekko68
01/8/2014 17:55 | It's a bit like Christmas with this stock as long as it goes up at some point. Sell 100k tyru at 10p, buy 120k tyr at 7.8p, wait and convert and repeat the cycle. For those who have been doing this in recent years, building additional share holdings without actually adding cash has been helpful! Placings of tyr shares have clearly been a key issue. I just need another tipster that only mentions tyru to allow me to sell the lot. Can anyone think of a similar arbitrage? | deepvalueinvestor |
