18/4/2017 15:49 | Had to hold my nose buying them at a premium - now they're at a much larger premium, and having to sit on hands to avoid selling again. Can't get a yield like that in many other places, and today's FTSE sell-off showing the benefit of holding some bond funds, even a slightly esoteric one. From reading the RNS re Block Listing, the 15m will get dribbled into the market to prevent the premium getting too much higher - though it already feels high to me, even if not dissimilar from several others. | spectoacc
18/4/2017 10:19 | block listing of 15m shares announced, interesting to see at what premium they get placed at. I guess this is the full amount they could do within the articles. thoughts welcome. | edwardt
13/4/2017 07:22 | They do; thinking back to when I held a couple of the infrastructure trusts & sold out when the premiums just got silly - 10-15% - and then went to 25%+! Can't see any end to the low interest rate world - rates could go up 7x in a cycle and still only be 2%. | spectoacc
12/4/2017 18:15 | shares sold out of treasury so you can tell there is demand. I agree that one should be sensitive to premiums but investors don't half love yield!! | edwardt
12/4/2017 08:57 | Now trading well above NAV after recent rise - can't see much to justify it but also disinclined to sell. Everything I sell when trading over NAV only seems to go higher. | spectoacc
16/3/2017 09:16 | Hold these & recently bought more. Less bothered about the share price performance, more bothered about NAV. XD today (0.5p) & last NAV 92.78p. So yes, they haven't done great, but are trading around NAV which isn't bad for a monthly payer. Not too concerned about ratings of the debt they hold but they need to show they can perform over time. Hoping for some mean reversion eventually. | spectoacc
30/9/2016 19:37 | Yay - (but not much lol) | luckymouse
27/9/2016 15:44 | neckline moment here - interesting to see if it bounces :) | luckymouse
22/7/2016 08:22 | What's the yield? | montyhedge
09/7/2016 19:58 | Thanks very much for that jonwig. On what you have said probably give it a miss. | digger61
09/7/2016 18:05 | Investors from outset have lost 16p in capital and taken 12.56p (I think) in dividends. 63% of their debt portfolio is rated B or below (16% is unrated). And most of it is in banks/insurance debt. 23% is "European High Yield". If you're determined to invest in this, make sure you know how the dividends are treated for tax purposes. I seem to remember that they are deemed to be interest, so get a 20% (BRT) hit unless in a tax wrapper. Do check. | jonwig
09/7/2016 16:08 | Anybody have a view on this? | digger61
08/10/2015 19:20 | Dividend doubled this month, as its the FY one, where any excess is also added, see RNS below. Odd time to release it, at 16:29 : Re: Dividend Announcement The Directors of TwentyFour Select Monthly Income Fund Limited have declared that a dividend will be payable, in line with the Prospectus, representing the regular monthly targeted dividend plus excess net income for the financial period ending 30 September 2015, as follows: Ex Dividend Date 15 October 2015 Record Date 16 October 2015 Payment Date 30 October 2015 Dividend per Share 1.0268861 pence (Sterling) | wirralowl

05/8/2014 17:51 | Yes I got mine via Interactive Investor, received on 1 Aug, reinvested yesterday. | m1das_touch
05/8/2014 17:01 | I've just emailed selftrade, because although they've credited my Account with the TFIF divi on 1st Aug, they've not credited me with the first of SMIF's monthly payments. Anyone successfully had their payment yet? | wirralowl

27/6/2014 14:13 | NAV now up to 101.65p and share price responding accordingly, it would seem. | wirralowl
10/6/2014 10:48 | Good to see the fund is now fully invested and the NAV rose an impressive 1.78% over the month and now at 100.72p | wirralowl
10/6/2014 09:52 | hxxp://www.twentyfou | davebowler
04/6/2014 15:23 | NAV now 100.41 as of 30th May | wirralowl
11/5/2014 10:09 | NAV making steady progress, and now over 100p. If they can replicate some of the success of their other income fund (TFIF) I'll be more than happy. | wirralowl |
