23/7/2013 17:31 | reks have a look at fte if you've missed here it has just had a breakout outta a falling wedge today easily double money in coming weeks | phalen
23/7/2013 16:48 | Can someone explain why the half year results will see this to new highs?? I've seen people shouting 1.5p and 2p which would give the company an mcap of £50m and £63m respectively. Are people mad??? 1st Quarter results showed 950k net loss for the 3 months and so i expect at least £1.2m loss for half year. Cash at 1st Quarter in 2012 was £857k but this year only £126k. Market does not like loss making companies and i see 2013 as another rebuilding year for TPS with more contracts announced later in the year which will come to fruition in mid/late 2014. Buying in now at this price is fair enough but please stop ramping it so people end up buying over 0.85p and more only for the results to be loss making and price dropping like a stone again. I am not deramping as i hold 650k here with 0.62 average. I will be topping up when I can in the coming year but only once the rampers have left and the price reaches a stable level of 0.60-0.70 again. | reks
23/7/2013 16:05 | turned BLUE | phalen
23/7/2013 13:40 | no orders before half year results. Only 2 orders since start of year which were not company changing. The half year results will still show decrease of revenue compared to same time last year. Market will not like that even though long term holders will be rewarded. The year for TPS will be 2014, once revenues are strong and decent profit reported. | reks
23/7/2013 09:28 | The trend is clearly up here. Just need another big order RNS. Which could come at any time! | someuwin

19/7/2013 14:58 | Hello all. Just thought i would drop by. No volume at all today tells me i was correct and that there will be no news until 12/13th Aug. As for the price it has not dropped so phalen & le pap you are both right on that one. Will i get my 0.65p top up price? Only time will tell | reks
19/7/2013 13:41 | I think he understands tps is attacking the finances and with VSE input id say it wont be a problem to them..and Q2 should speak volumes | phalen
19/7/2013 13:38 | Seems to be saying that if they can sort out the finances then it's a goer. But until then it could go bust at the drop of a hat "One hiccup and it is sayonara". So firmly on the fence imho. Then again he can't get the number of shares in issue right so don't read too much into his wafflings. Him, TW and the rest of his gang haven't had much luck with their 'tips' recently. Probably why he won't commit either way. Aimho, dyor, etc... | le mass du pap
19/7/2013 13:33 | So is EK going long on TPS ? | phalen
19/7/2013 13:31 | Good thing with TPS now is we have seen them slashing losses in Q1 already! and since then more good contracts I expect Q2 to be even better ..they have an aggressive stance to turn around and VSE is appointed their executive as an executive on TPS..Big changes happening on TPS talk of regional manufacturing outside the UK with resolutions expected to be passed by mid 2013. loads of turnaround happenings starting and if investors investigate they can see that. | phalen
19/7/2013 13:27 | Like I said yesterday, I think the much higher £25m mcap is correct, hence the resistance at this price. | le mass du pap
19/7/2013 13:25 | Thanks for posting, but what a pointless article. Neither here nor there. Plus I don't understand the shares in issue and therefore the mcap. According to the website there are 3.3bln, giving the company an mcap of £24m at the mid, not £10m. Although ADVFN's financial page also says 1.43bln. Guess the website should be the most reliable. Maybe EK should have checked this with Mr Besant? "As at 10 July 2013 the Company had 3,336,865,922 Issued Common Shares of no par value; 30,917,273 outstanding Share Options and 892,777,778 A Ordinary Shares of Turbo Power Systems Limited convertible into Common Shares." | le mass du pap
19/7/2013 13:17 | you can sell 3m online at the moment | pranchalee
19/7/2013 12:59 | this is a gamble that could pay off big time next contract going to be interesting | pranchalee
19/7/2013 11:15 | EK today... "I caught up with Professor Colin Besant of Turbo Power Systems (TPS) yesterday. There was a time - sixteen years ago - when this company was called Turbo Genset and I had contacted Professor Besant in Imperial College across the road from my then home in Knightsbridge. He enthused over this company's possibilities and, for the first and only time in my life, I alighted upon a hundred bagger. I am sorry to say that the member of my family who had doubled his £5,000 got cold feet and elected to withdraw. Fortunately, a pal stood his ground and made a useful six figure sum. Then the price turned over and I made serious dough shorting the stock from about £25 downwards. All in all, it has been quite a roller coaster. Anyway, many disappointments and fund raisings since leave the price at 0.7p with a capitalisation of £10m (c. 1.4bn shares now in issue). A Brazilian concern owns 89% of the equity. Turbo Power depends upons the goodwill of the Brazilian concern if it is to survive. Certainly, the balance sheet is appalling with liabilities exceeding assets by £7m. One hiccup and it is sayonara. However and intriguingly, there is no escaping the fact that were finances sufficient to handle the potential order book the share price would turn up sharply. Professor Besant, who is still a director, has an engaging enthusiasm: he clearly remains a supporter. You decide." | someuwin
19/7/2013 10:01 | anything over 500k will be paying full0.8p anyone level 2 please | pranchalee
18/7/2013 17:07 | I think either way they wont be able to promote enough sellers to allow them enough stock on a very good news RNS day and we know theres one coming on 12th-13th Aug Q2 update. will be very interesting indeed as I feel this is going to rise a lot near term. | phalen
18/7/2013 16:55 | What do you think the MMs have left to play with ? Not a lot. Could even gap up tomorrow morning. Closed slightly above the previous 0.725p resistance today. Logically the next stop is 0.75p-0.85p, but they don't like 0.85p for some reason so probably straight to 0.9p offer. Obviously 0.8p is set in their minds as the pivotal point and I think that's because 0.75p is almost exactly £25m market cap, which traditionally is a resistance point psychologically. So 0.8p heralds the start of the next range. Beyond that it's going to go straight to test 1p. If news on a contract etc comes then the next major resistance will be 1.5p, or £50m market cap. That may happen on results depending on how good they are. But there's no doubt that currently the mm's have a shortage of shares, anyone with a calculator can see that from buys/sells the last few days. I think they're hoping that if they can keep it down long enough then sellers will appear, but not many so far! However, if a few more buyers arrive then they'll have to throw in the towel and make up their losses higher up or beg another mm for stock. That late 257k buy took the real offer up on it's own. Of course being mm's and working a rigged deck they can always bump up the bid and allow selling, but stop online buying or restrict it to 'fill or kill' or 'negotiated trade only', seen that before and I wouldn't put it past them. Anyhow, happy days again, sun is shining and I'm confident in the near future we'll be very happy indeed. See you tomorrow. Aimho, dyor, etc... | le mass du pap |
