07/10/2016 10:58 | "Perhaps Coupa’s IPO will cause greater interest in companies targeting related areas such as sourcing, eProcurement, e-invoicing/networks Amen to that. | pkarnezis
07/10/2016 10:45 | Coupa IPO hxxps://spendmatters up 85% on first day of trading The current stock price gives Coupa a valuation within striking distance of $2B, which would equate to above 10x revenue on a forward basis or over 15x on a trailing basis. | bs76
06/10/2016 15:50 | Truel buying at 53p? | cabreado
06/10/2016 09:54 | Worry is one thing. Paranoia is another. On 23 Sep 2016, Liberty House's founder said: “This is our family business. We have a large property portfolio, we have ambitions to become a property developer, and we recently bought a bank. We hope to take management control of this bank next month (October). “The Bank of England is very particular about who they let in to the banking world in the UK. We passed through all the hurdles and now we’re in the final finishing touches to get control. And this bank will focus singularly on trade. They’re not allowed to bank us directly as per regulation but they can bank our customers. This is in my opinion, going to be the fastest growing part of the group in due course,” he said. | pkarnezis
06/10/2016 06:39 | Which is why I'd like to see something stating that it has completed as expected... | 1gw
05/10/2016 23:48 | One reason for the lurch down may be the failure of the bank sale... | andrewdbl
05/10/2016 15:11 | Indeed. But given they have publicly stated "by the end of October" on a number of occasions I would expect them to be targeting a rather earlier date for actual completion. | 1gw
05/10/2016 14:55 | due by eom iirc | andrewdbl
05/10/2016 13:48 | The share price looks like it needs an injection of positive news from the company. Now where's that bank sale announcement? | 1gw
30/9/2016 11:46 | i nodded off watching it but at least shows its functionality. | edwardt
29/9/2016 03:35 | New Analytics (webinar) vid. Includes platform demo. | manics
28/9/2016 22:15 | This article about Taulia is interesting. Among other things, the company says that out of $30 billion transacted over its network (Feb-Aug), it offered $1.4 billion in early payment (a bit less than 5%). | pkarnezis
28/9/2016 10:51 | just read close brothers results. they are trading at 1.7 times book. the most important thing is they lend to sme's with a nim of circa 8% and defaults are at record lows. we need to get a piece of this action. factoring can reduce the cost of finance for these businesses for sure. the average loan book is 1.5 years but surely we can compete in some of this space. | edwardt
27/9/2016 12:39 | edwardt: your last comment would make a great tattoo. | manics
27/9/2016 11:41 | Something going on here, during a test deal my broker would allow me to sell 30k shares. Thought normal market size was 10k shares. Are they collecting for a new insti? Nice breakout. | chemistdude
27/9/2016 11:39 | Well, whatever is driving it, it's a very nice bounce. | 1gw
27/9/2016 10:49 | A good question of cause and effect. Not that I am cynical or anything but - and this an market wide not just TUNG thing 1 - The management controls the timing of the options 2 - The management will want the options priced keenly, but not so they are clearly in the money from day 1 So they use their knowledge to pick a time when they think the share price is low and set the option price a little bit above the current level. Now, does the share price rise because of this (clear buy signal) or was it going to rise anyway, who knows. I share Manic's erm irritation here as if you - for the sake of example - think the share price will be bouncing around 100p next july, the shareholders have effectively given the management ~ 0.4 * 815k = 326k ... to some extent for being good at timing their entry, not for running the business. | andrewdbl
27/9/2016 10:03 | didn't tung go on a massive rally post granting of options last time? it strikes me the price is kept down prior to grant of options! | edwardt
27/9/2016 08:26 | Well said Manics - them and us . PIs bottom of the pile every time | dollarzpounds
27/9/2016 08:21 | Perhaps that's where the "flair" comes in, Manics! | keyno
27/9/2016 06:41 | I wasn't very happy with the share options and why should I be? Where's the price gone in a year (the 'year of execution')? Early investors are priced in a far higher -we don't get to press reset. Until management deliver fundamental momentum imo I can't see it should be much different for them. The platform was supposed to be ready 2-3 years ago at 220p. Now management get to build it at 62.7p? | manics
26/9/2016 22:32 | I enjoyed the bounce off 60p and wonder how much attention the market takes to the 455+250+110 = 815k share options at 62.7 | andrewdbl |
