Well its still on the map as an exploration project in newcrests recent presentation. I guess given the market its probably it will be put on the back burner but if not surely there is a chance albeit small of value....

They may be underpinned by cash, but have confirmed enough to see them through end 2014, however thought the accompanying statement so downbeat & management seem clueless as to which direction to go, really needs a larger entity to take them out.....

Cash burn looks pretty low Knigel ...

End of September net cash was 1.5 mill

As of 21st May it was 1.2 mill

So 300k gbp in 9 months

(Of course they now have an extra 950k usd in escrow)...

So 400k gbp pa? Which they may well be slowing through cost cutting as per the interims....

So they have enough cash for over 4 years....if they carry on spending the same way...

One thought guys - the cash may be higher than the current share price BUT it is obviously reducing due to general expenditure including director fees etc... so the company really needs to pull a rabbit out of the bag to justify a re-rating of the share price. It is at this level for a reason but has the potential to move higher but time is short imo

Newmont aren't even involved any more.

Best hope here is that Newcrest are still involved.

I thought Tony might take TPJ all the way to Uruguay and have a shot at
OMI`s Talca which may be going begging for any deal
