Posted at 18/8/2021 20:12 by ana227 It is disappointing to hear and after 20 years of being listed it's a sad state of affairs. Who is at fault? We can all play this game and ultimately as investors we take risks and look upon the BOD as being credible. The failings here suggests it's much deeper than covid and perhaps our trust in BOD needs a look in. The new management appear to be the existing ageing management plus Phils replacement. The new FD then becomes both FD/CEO when Mike leaves, not wise (imo) as financial control were lost and never regained and operational efficiencies never materialised. At least we know he is good with words, pity there is no strength behind this. |
Posted at 18/8/2021 07:42 by clocktower From todays RNS it suggests to me that investors can say good bye to holding out any hopes of being able to be in receipt of any funds from the sale or liquidation, as the case maybe. |
Posted at 28/4/2021 09:29 by clocktower Spotted this due to the drop, so I took a look and saw a lot of faces that I am familiar with - so whats the story here folks?Recovering or Bust? I have had a brief look at the last accounts and various RNS and it does not look good to me but seeing it got off its backside a short time ago, I guess some of you have been buying, so I guess are positive for the longer term investor, as many of you are I believe. Still, I would love your opinions if you don't mind. |
Posted at 24/11/2020 19:44 by baner one must wonder what the true position was when the company raised new funds recently? there is no way investors would have put in fresh funds into this had they been correctly informed re the status of the balance sheet at that point in time! no doubt there are reasons to trigger a full investigation into this!!!! |
Posted at 06/1/2020 11:53 by pugugly If TCN keeps on moving like this it should hit the screens of the momentum investors and then move up into over-bought teritory - whatever that may be - |

Posted at 11/8/2016 08:15 by aleman Komatsu's mining equipment business looks to be starting to turn up.Caterpillar sales are still falling but Europe and Asia look to be showing signs of levelling out so overall sales might bottom towards the end of H2. Despite collapsed prices, stuff still needs digging out of the ground and they can only delay orders for so long. Eventually, existing clapped out equipment needs replacing if they are to keep digging. |
Posted at 14/4/2016 15:30 by aleman I frequent another thread where a few steadier buy and hold investors chat about investments and all sorts of random life musings. A couple of them seem to have bought a few after I mentioned them but I doubt that accounts for the majority. |
