14/3/2024 14:55 | A happy scarcity of available stock - can't currently get an online quote to buy 150 shares @ 224p | gleach23
14/3/2024 14:42 | Another tick up, someone just paid £2.24 | 1maxreward
12/3/2024 08:13 | We certainly do appear to be getting a slowing rising trend in volume of trades during march - most of them buys... | netcurtains
11/3/2024 10:00 | Vacancies jump to 7 this morning , some with more than one position required. //////////////////// From last weeks trading update : “ . Our recruitment process is operating at full steam ahead with great success.” //////////////////// Triad have been flat out on the job hiring front since November , as others lay off staff. That in itself, is telling you something. | sunshine today
08/3/2024 15:41 | All the noises from government (existing or incoming) are about efficiency savings and digitisation of time-consuming jobs. In fact whoever is in charge, they will be faced with no choice but to make these savings by computerisation. Triad are a quality company with a great working ethos and just happen to be (as well): right place, right time. | bluemango
08/3/2024 15:36 | Same here. Chances are if the price doubled, the income from dividends would also have increased significantly too. In which case, assuming one was here for income, all the more reason for sticking with it. | bluemango
08/3/2024 15:28 | If anyone is interested in the psychology of small time holders (well under 1%) I have no intention of selling even if the price doubled. This is a long time hold for me - for old time sake (having worked there)... I suspect many small holders here have either worked there or know people who have. I will be here for all the ups and downs... But I do not know how many of us there are (but as company expands one assumes there will be more and more people like me). | netcurtains
08/3/2024 13:54 | When I was there in about 2014-15 (as a contractor - not staff) they had a couple of big money spinners. Now its 5 or or even more.. This surely must translate into profits eventually.... | netcurtains
08/3/2024 13:17 | Thanks netcurtains and sunshine let’s hope we see a decent per | solarno lopez
08/3/2024 12:39 | solarno lopez No idea, but you can’t argue with the size of the order book, a good lump of it is on Contracts Finder, and Bramble Hub C£30M Thats without any private sector wins (20% of Triads revenues ) Thats without ACE contracts Thats without police contracts Thats without DOS and G Cloud Thats without what never gets published //////////////////// First half revenues were just 6.39M | sunshine today
08/3/2024 12:33 | Over exuberant? The contract wins are there in black and white | netcurtains
08/3/2024 12:30 | Was the Chairman over exuberant with his last two statements that’s how I now read the situation ? | solarno lopez
08/3/2024 12:09 | In my last post i have shown two competitors and the gross margin which is about average for the computer IT industry. Triad changed its business model because the old model could not achieve that kind of gross margin. TRD being a quality outfit should be able to match or even fractionally beat those numbers. Thats what the last five years has all been about. By example 20 extra consultants at say 43% gross margin and a very low overhead to be covered produces a great deal of profit. A large slice of that can go to shareholders as a reward in the form of dividends. | sunshine today

08/3/2024 11:57 | In which case profits would be even greater even sooner !!!! | sunshine today
08/3/2024 11:54 | True but ‘if’ grow numbers of employees by percentage rather than absolute it could be a lot quicker | netcurtains
08/3/2024 11:48 | netcurtains An SME is any organisation that has fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of less than €50 million or a balance sheet total less than €43 million. A breakdown of the different organisation sizes is in the below table. //////////////////// 250 employees is the test for Triad and at a growth rate of say 20 consultants a year your a good five to seven years away. If Triad was to hire around 20 consultants a year all things being equal profits can increase at scale because the gross margin can be very high. if one looks back through past report and accounts you can see this has been the plan for the last 5 years. About to come good after a long slog. | sunshine today
08/3/2024 11:37 | gleach23 The official order book ( ie what you and i can see on the uk Governments Contracts Finder page ) has increased near TEN FOLD over Triads last financial year. Thats just the large Uk Government orders. Yesterday we have been told the order book is still growing at pace. As another poster rightly points out, orders are not profits, but they are in my view , around 70% of getting there. Triad shares have seen a re rate based on order growth, however the real buying from investors will only show when profits are delivered. We also know margings will be higher for two main reasons 1/ More work = minimal time to be on the bench. ( staff ). 2/ A larger workforce to cover total overheads. | sunshine today
08/3/2024 11:34 | How many employees or turnover does triad need before it stops being SME and moves on to being a large company? | netcurtains
08/3/2024 11:21 | Personally I was totally gobsmacked by how bad the half year results were in December and there seemed to be no particular reason given as there was the previous year (ie government turmoil in 2022) despite the 'external factors beyond our control' being described as worse than the previous year...and yes I understand there was investment being thrown into recruitment. I was equally perplexed by the strength in share price on the back of those results (despite the upbeat outlook comments - we'd had similar the year before) and bearing in mind how volatile the share price can be, and the fact that I had been overweight with my holding, I reduced by a third between the results and the end of Jan with a plan to buy back on any dips. Didn't get the opportunity to buy any dips but have topped up a little since yesterday's news and will be holding on tightly for the ride now. TRD is about 10% of my overall portfolio and I expect that to increase in the next year or 2. GLA | gleach23
08/3/2024 10:43 | The price will absolutely be volatile with the current share holdings. There is very few shares in the market at the moment, if there is any slight buying the shares shoot up as illustrated today. If we all stay strong and hold this share it could go to the moon! Come on guys and girls stay strong please for all of our ISA's and SIPPS haha | 1maxreward
08/3/2024 10:10 | According to various websites, the free float here appears to be tiny at 1,915,872 shares(11.52%) which probably means there may be some volatile price movements coming up. | achenaton |
