Hi Sunshine, worth taking a read of MODE - they have placed 10% of their IPO funds invested into BTC

5th January - Mode Global Holdings, the LSE-listed fintech group, reports a new record-breaking month with trading volumes and new user numbers surging over 1,500% and 500%

We've been particularly popular amongst first-time Bitcoin investors which caused our Bitcoin app to make it to the top 2 in the UK's App Store finance category in December, surpassing most high-street banking and fintech apps.

In October last year, Mode decided to utilise up to 10% of its IPO proceeds from shareholders to invest in Bitcoin, diversifying its treasury portfolio, and as of today, Mode is over 100% up on its original position. Mode was the first publicly listed company in the UK to officially announce a significant purchase of Bitcoin as part of its treasury investment strategy.

“The Board of Triad Group Plc notes the recent movement in the Company's share price and confirms that it knows of no commercial or operational reason which may be driving the increase.”

Which is absolutely correct, no new orders for instance.

The company has over the last few weeks be re rated on future potential profits from its existing traditional business, (after 1/2 year back in profit) and prospects.

Stratis CEO said in mid December they will be working with TRD on use cases.

He also expects exponential growth

Blockchain is red hot with Bitcoin, ARGO, a Bitcoin miner, up, I think, 15 fold.

ADVFN and it’s coin has also gone berserk

USA banking regulator allowing the use of Blockchain on Monday evening.

Very few, if any listed companies for investors to get exposure to Blockchain

Yeah lets ignore the company warning and ramp it to silly figures hoping you can dump into any brief spike in the morning.

You know it's a dot com style bubble when punters are now ignoring companies when they warn people the rise is stupid.

MM's trying to get cheap shares this afternoon, tried some dummy sells and could only get sell quotes at the 120-130p range, don't let them have your cheap shares, this is going to pop again tomorrow with overnight interest.

I bought a test position in these on Dec 30th 2020 as I thought they looked good value and would benefit from any recovery as contractor rates/numbers would rise. The blockchain stuff is guff. I remember working in a big four consulting company in the 1998-2000 period and there were loads of this type of announcement. Essentially they comprise of a lot of noise about something they intend to do. No real substance which could lead to a more than doubling. Triad is a staffing and consulting business. It was lowly valued because its employees can walk and leave nothing. I'm grateful for the windfall, but with no institutional interest and just £1.5 million traded this is just a classic bulletin board stock. I'm out, and expect this will be coming back to earth soon.
