With the greatest respect.:

Let me change your request, to include a little known fact.

Any investor who has purchased Triad shares at ANY period in the last 20 years is sitting on Capital and dividend profits.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

NOW READ THE TRADING UPDATE DELIVERED TWO WEEKS AGO.

“In my overview of results dated 20th December 2023, I said "I personally have never felt so confident and enthusiastic about the state and prospects of the Company for more than 20 years" and "I believe that we are at the beginning of a period of increasing major success and growth". I am delighted to confirm that both these statements are proving to be more than amply justified”

Let me add another fact, Triad Group plc is 100% off the city radar, mixed in with the 4% of listed companies that do not have a profit forecast, or share price target in the market for various reasons.

Triad are now in week 52 of the 2023 - 2024 year.

Next week a new growth chapter starts.

Good luck .

NET :

Simply Wall St has the two companies you mention above on near identical PE ratios of 26 and 28 with projected growth rates of C: 10%.

Triad will not have a PE ratio until real profits are delivered for the 6 months to 30 Sep 2024.

At a minimum the PE ratio will then need to be reduced by at least 50% to take account of just 6 months of trading not 12.

The attraction of Triad over BYTES and SOFTCAT is two fold.

1/ Triads full order book, new hires, and Chairmans remarks in the recent trading update combined, point to substantial, monthly growing profits, during 2024 and beyond.

2/ Triad are much smaller and can grow profit much faster expressed as a % than the above bigger players. (10% is not attractive to myself.)

An investors dream ticket is owning shares in a stock that is potentially going to be rerated from a low starting point, first to hit an average PE Ratio for the sector, and then go on to be awarded a premium Ratio as the quality of earnings and the companies growth rate are factored in.

“I am delighted to have been asked by Crown Commercial Services to share my thoughts with the CCS SME Working Group this Thursday on the new Procurement Act. Great to see this sort of engagement with SME’s – I am sure our collective efforts will lead to better outcomes for all.”

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

CCS = Crown Commercial service: It is they, who put out the Government contracts Triad and others bid for.

Fantastic to see our CEO being invited to explain how he thinks the bid process can be improved and made easier for SME”S to win a larger slice of the Government computer IT spend cake.

The CCS is re writing the old EU rule book ready for launch in October.

Personally i am convinced this will smash open Government doors allowing the very best SME”S to expand at pace.

Topping this, is the fact, to get exposure to this stock market sub segment, through an SME, is near impossible. That over time may see investors channel funds into Triad stock. ( lack of choice ). The alternative is larger companies with slower growth rates.

Hence TRD have yet another edge in its goal to becoming the United Kingdoms favourite consulting company by 2025.

The official order book ( ie what you and i can see on the uk Governments Contracts Finder page ) has increased near TEN FOLD over Triads last financial year.

Thats just the large Uk Government orders.

Yesterday we have been told the order book is still growing at pace.

As another poster rightly points out, orders are not profits, but they are in my view , around 70% of getting there.

Triad shares have seen a re rate based on order growth, however the real buying from investors will only show when profits are delivered.

We also know margings will be higher for two main reasons

1/ More work = minimal time to be on the bench. ( staff ).

2/ A larger workforce to cover total overheads.

Fabulous trading update.

No potential investor cares a hoot about this year’s performance.

The real excitement Starts on the 1st of April as growth , and profits ramp up, not hindered by expansion costs .

The mixture of high quality contracts, existing staff being fully employed, ( not on the bench ), and new hires, is going to be transformative.

I think the RSI does not really work for thinly traded stocks. All it is saying is there was a rash of buys and now there isn't just the odd sell or two. This stock is really driven by news from various sources and or random investors pilling in at random times...

The government is going to ensure SME’S gain a far larger slice of the cake going forward.

The issue for investors is finding listed companies that stand to gain from the new procurement Bill.

They are out there, for sure .

Not sure about RSI, i kind of think , its just basics.

The recent rise in the stock is just a reaction to events. A stock often starts to move as the order book expands. For evidence of that, look at AIM listed companies who have to RNS any orders over a certain size, and their share price reaction, on the day of release. ( Triad is fully listed, and under no obligation to RNS contracts ).

Example :
Ethernity Networks shares bounce 200% after contract win
Wed 29 Nov 2023 09:52
(Sharecast News) - The share price for AIM-listed Ethernity Networks trebled on Wednesday after the Israel-based semiconductor group won a "significant" contract worth $800,000. The contract is with an existing, unnamed "long-term networking data communications customer" which has been licensing Ethernity's ENET flow processor tech for over ten years.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Don't get me wrong i am not saying , Triad is going up 200% .

Here we go with my full explanation :

Numerous substantial longer term contract wins, that can be tracked on the UK Governments site : Contracts Finder. ( plus others, through 3rd parties, where Triad is not represented on a particular framework agreement ).

Winning no less than 3 awards at the Oscars of the Industry , more than any other company. An outstanding achievement for any SME.

Upbeat comments from the Chairman, and yet more director buying.

The number of new vacancies in the process of being filled.

Future growth rate scenarios , as soon as the overhead cost is covered, profits can at least in theory, expand on fractionally higher revenues.

Triad also pays dividends, that have the ability to grow at pace over the next few years.

The dire state of the listed competition, who have gone for rapid growth at the expense of quality. ( and failed ).

I am also of the view investors have yet to grasp the implications of the new procurement Bill being introduced this year, and its probable benefits to ESTABLISHED SME’S. ( like Triad ).

Triads 34 years of working for the Government, is a huge advantage.
It’s going to be easier for SME’S to win contracts generally.

That said , even newer SME entrants, will have a lot of catching up to do, and may struggle for the first few years, to gain traction.

Triad has such a great reputation they must be in an excellent position to grow organically .

Consultancy is not a numbers game , it’s all about your staff. Triad have spent half a decade getting to today’s position. Refer to recent Annual Reports.

For those willing to research information in the public domain.

Go to the uk Government web page called Contracts Finder

Tap in contract wins, on left hand side

Tap in the following dates 01/04/23 to 28/12/23

These correspond to Triads financial year that starts 01/04/23

Tap in “Triad” ( Triad Group plc ) in the awarded box

You will see a total of £18.5M of contracts and extensions won over the 9 MONTH period, since Triads financial year started on 01/04/2023

Do the same for the previous 12 MONTHS , April 22 to April 23 and the number is just £3.6M

Thats an absolute mind boggling increase of a tad over 400%, after just 9 months, with three months, still to go , which may produce yet more contract wins.

No wonder the chairman is the most upbeat about prospects, for the last 20 years.

Its revenues and profit growth, that drives shares in ANY company higher, as new investors want a slice of the action

Directors, ( buying yet again last week) with their very large , way above average holdings in the company, are totally alined with ordinary shareholders. (unlike the market in general).

bluemango: I think the reason is the name "Triad" - I half suspect some investors on a casual look think its cheap chinese AIM rubbish 😃😃😃......

They dont realise its a FTSE, dividend yielding stock...
That has just won four large contracts......

2024 has not started yet...
Just watch the news flow....

😃

Merry Christmas
