Looks like consistent 50k and 60k lumps being dumped at around 9p. As long as these transfer to LTH or...have to be bought back!!! We should clear this soon enough and head north again.

I guess short term investors think no news for a good few weeks, so no point hanging around. As a L T H I prefer to stay put and enjoy the journey.Good luck all.

Don't ignore currency effects;
TLOU underlying is probably a US$ based company although local gas and power markets will predominate.
TLOU/TOU is subject to GBP/AUD currency effect... GBP has fallen from 1.76 to 1.62 in last month.

Oz up 3.33% overnight on extremely low volumes too.
Perhaps tomorrow might turn into a good friday, not to mention resurrection sunday.
It is so puzzling - I have been expecting a good rise but nothing after a few minutes of sense.

Mining Licence and renewal of agreement (expiring 30 Nov) with GE, defining next stage to come?

If there was a placing I would expect the Sp to be increasing that's the usual way it works on aim. Doubtful so close to the recent raise wouldn't make sense.

So everybody is in agreement then that the only firm Plan that has been communicated, with known timescales and which is currently funded too, is to continue to explore known Reserves, check flow-rates, produce Data and conduct analysis and that the existing $3m of Funds will support those efforts into next year ?
I think I'm going to sit on the sidelines until that nears completion AND/OR there is a clear communication about a firm Plan to put extraction Operations & Storage in place, or a distribution Network and/or the Power Plant that has been visualised with the Government.
Doesn't feel like there's any real substance to this Business until those Plans surface with Partners in place, etc.

pottermagic2310, you miss out an important point. It's not just TLOU that want this to happen. It's the Botswana government that actually need it to happen hence the fast-tracking of permits. The past is totally irrelevant in that concept.Of course I'm sure there'll be some more ulterior motive pessimistic posts for us to read in the very near future. They don't float my boat though.

It's just normal oil/gas exploration process to find potential, review existing data, drill wells estimate resources, carry out flow tests, estimate reserves (where we are now), carry out more wells, more testing, review data etc, etc. It may appear to be repetitive, but a necessary part of the process.

Further appraisal has already been mentioned by TLOU and this will continue. At some point more detailed power plant planning will commence whilst appraisal continues.

Senior management should be reasonably well paid, particularly as they negotiate with multi-billion cap partners.

The management aren't IMHO being paid excessively and I understand have invested considerable amounts just to get to this stage. If you want examples of excessive executive pay go and look at the history of Afren and Gulf Keystone.

They will need to raise funds as the project develops but the management has done it all before and will have learnt from the successful developments at Sunshine Gas and Arrow Energy to do it as well if not better.

According to the most recent Report & Financials, a 1/3rd of the $3m should look after the Senior Management for another year, whilst the remaining 2/3rds should be enough for on-going exploration into next Summer.
What concerns me is that this very latest News simply seems to confirm very similar numbers to those reported 18 months ago and in relation to the exact same area and legacy vertical & horizontal drills. It feels like they're saying "We've gone exactly where others have gone before and can confirm that stuff already known about is still there"... and thanks for the $1m for letting us tell you so.
There are also facts & Figures on TLOUs website dating back to prior 3rd Party exploration many years ago (pre this decade), which tell a similar story all over again.
This looks like an exercise in revisiting well-documented Assets, much to the benefit of the Senior Management. It can't possibly go anywhere unless the Company produces a detailed Plan & Financials for developing and making operational a viable extraction Plant and the Power Plant the government want... when is that Plan due to surface, how much funding will it take, what % of that venture will TLOU own or benefit from ?

That has crossed my mind also njw2.
They did raise A$3m a little while back, but how long will that last?
If it is successful as the last one no problem.

This could be a day that we won't forget for a while. We'll be looking back and shaking our heads that we did not plough into more shares. I guess it still feels too easy for most of us. I am trying to avoid putting too many eggs in one basket is my excuse but it feels so stupid.
