Have vacuumed and cleaned from rear of van working forward - got as far as the cab so just got it to do and the bunk above. Rain has stopped play.

Have slight change of plan - defrosting fridge freezer in house. It is Ok I have my freezer diving certificate and all the equipment for the pending torrents of water.

Good Morning chaps.
Overcast this morning and hope it does not rain today as want to start getting van ready for the hols. Get it all vacuumed out and carpets cleaned etc.

JJ... I've grown to like Glasgow too. It's much nicer there since it was spruced up for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.Think it's because I live out in the wilds. I really enjoy my time in cities when I occasionally visit them.

It certainly is.It put paid to my plans of mounting an invasion up north,now I can only go as far as the border, the tea is bloody expensive at the services.

Gosh , probably 52 years since I had the pleasure of being in Edinburgh.
Drove through on the way to Carnoustie.
Remember it being rather stunning but obviously a lot quieter in those days.

Maybe its an age thing gates, I am not keen on many big cities now. I like Stuttgart but not in the centre but all the green parks around and about Stuttgart and the lovely German towns a short train trip away.

Have booked a campsite in Edinburgh for Master R's graduation..expensive but we need secure parking. I actually do not like Edinburgh at all. I used to 40 years ago but not any more as so busy these days.

Iceland have Champagne reduced to £6 per bottle
Apparently , it is a very nice vintage

I don't particularly like shampoo but at £6 per botitle. ...love it
