Good Evening.
What a busy two weeks I have had and things to do have piled up on my desk. I think I need a holiday..maybe a trip to Crete and make it 37.

Optician made a rather scathing comment about my age and am not getting any younger. I responded, I see your certificate hanging on wall is like my certificates showing your age by how much the ink has faded over the years. He was not amused.

In one of the tests I casually said "good game this, can I play again?" his response was "This is not a game but a very serious test".
I really got the impression he was in a bad mood and I should treat my eye test more seriously. After I chose my new frames etc and they worked out price they gave me extra discount and said "Mr G... said to give you additional discount as Mr C.... is a nice chap and I like him".
Well that was a turn up for the books, I thought I was annoying and upsetting him.

Good Morning.
Eye test this morning - was going to go in early to so some other shopping for clothes. Trish seems to think an extra half hour to 45 mins is plenty. What is she on, Now only have half an hour spare to go in early. Afraid eye test is with bloke around my age -- no eye candy this morning. Had an overdose the last week anyway between younger cleaner and dentist. Ahh! maybe this is why I am going blind and need an eye test.
