Miah,

Well Mick thinks he can turn this into a mid sized company off the back of Pilot mountain, so I don't think you've missed all the fun. They've only reported on the first two holes of the campaign so far so loads more results and assays to come yet. Mick's clearly a happy chappie from results to date though. Still early days here, with the rising tungsten price it can bring Molyhil back into play and its got several hundred million AU$ of tungsten too. However if the sulphide at Desert Scheelite becomes a shallow copper play then its even more commercial than just the tungsten alone. Be interesting to see the assay results of this 51m intersect.

Regards,
Ed.

Quick NPV Calcs

Tungsten: WO3 = 21,000 tonnes x £1667 per tonne = £350m Gross NPV value

Copper = 11,339 tonnes x £5000 per T = £57m Gross NPV

Silver 4.9m oZ x £14 per ounce = £68m Gross NPV

Total = £475m Gross NPV

Above are based on JORC 2012 Resource figures

£475m did by 367m shares in issue = 130p Gross NPV before Capex costs before any possible upgrades to the resources

Temm,

Interesting as that's the equivalent of 1.55p, much more to come here in terms of results. Then a move to Dundas around May time too.

Ed.

Should be careful with this stock,it's being ramped all over the BB's.

I only discovered today that there is only 27 Million shares available to the public,so it has very low liquidity, and that's the reason it moves both ways very fast.

"There'll be some work going on in the next couple of months where we think we can add tremendous value to the assets of the company without spending all that much money, and as a result I would hope that the share price takes off quite nicely."

Yes, and he reckons on further near term upside in the share price judging by what he says in the interview.

Nice bowl playing out on the chart. 2.5p looking like a reasonable target chart-wise.

x54,

Good find, another great interview. Mick still thinks current Pilot mountain drilling is a game changer for THR it seems.

Taken from Hot Copper post:

That made me think, just what is a 'medium-sized company'?
The criteria for defining the size of a business differs from country to country.
According to the European Commission:
medium sized company.png
Would that be in the 'near term' I wonder or maybe in next 12 months?
That would be an amazing feat for any CEO to achieve, good luck with that Mick.

Meanwhile Paul Johnson tweets...
"Popped a picture of Orion constellation on my T page. Just remember no point dreaming unless you have the energy & drive to build a rocket!!"

I'm all for dreaming in fact I love dreaming, but I prefer to be wide awake when investing. I wonder would that be a Tungsten rocket? room for 2?

Like I said, what is happening with Thor mining here and on AIM is truly fascinating.
Please please please do your own research & invest wisely, eyes wide open, awake...

Yes, certainly positive.

I see Paul Johnson is very keen judging by his tweets and recent purchases.

x54,

Sounds very positive and Mick seems very chuffed with himself and is hinting at more mineralisation for the additional hole at Desert Scheelite. He's doing this interview while its halted in Oz. That's some increase from the 17m good hole drilled previously, looking forward to the release for hole 3 of this campaign and the assays in a couple of weeks.

Ed.

Bantam,

Looks a bit like it. When any sensitive news arrives it triggers a halt on the ASX. As Mick pointed out the extension at Desert Scheelite can make it a significant tungsten and copper deposit (already thought to be one of the largest undeveloped tungsten assets in the US). The additional RC hole could be down by now and may have hit additional mineralisation further east yet again, last hole did have 51m with 9m sulphide mineralisation likely Cu. If this becomes a copper play it'll be more commerical than the tungsten alone, as mick said equivalent of 5.7% copper. So these extensions are significant and important. However if I were an ozzie that couldn't trade UK stocks I'd be as frustrated as hell at the moment as its wide open for UK investors and they're getting halted on ASX. Be interesting to see what the next hole has and what the assays reveal, none of this will be harming the upcoming JORC that's for sure as they're proving up more than just twinning the holes now. Gunmetal et al aren't in the original resources either.

Regards,
Ed.
