18/12/2020 15:38 | Thanks Boozey for your informed answer..my apologies for only just seeing your response. I sold mine but watching here, might buy back in later, but just glad to bank a decent profit. I did believe Mr Gandhi was here for the greater good, but money makes the world go round ..hey ho | wanttowin
11/12/2020 23:38 | Hi wanttowin, you ask a very good question. It was the first part of the RNS that caught my eye. The issuing of earnout shares is normally reserved for the sellers (directors/employees I have not met Mr Gandhi and he is clearly a very successful businessman who I admire if you look at his track record. His net worth must be huge. He owns over 10 million shares in Panoply alone which is roughly £20M. I have no issue in success being rewarded, and on paper Mr Gandhi has certainly earned his bonus, yet this is a man who said before establishing Panoply that he was keen to do more work for the greater good and that was one of the guiding principles when he setup the company. Benefiting from earnout shares not really intended for him kind of contradicts this, and therefore he could be viewed as using the company as a vehicle to maximise his own wealth. Whilst that is his prerogative as a successful businessman it also leaves him open to accusations of hypocrisy and making one reasonably doubt his motives. In an industry where it is hard to attract and retain talent even in troubled times as we have experienced in 2020 I would rather see such additional stock offered to the top performers in Panoply and/or spend extra cash on good causes so that the culture of the company reflects the personal values he has led us to believe underpin the origins of the Panoply which I have to say I rather like. But each to the their own, and for my part I believe on the story, he operates in an industry I understand and I feel this book will have many more positive chapters in time to come. | boozey
11/12/2020 09:01 | Can anyone help explain what this RNS means today please, I am baffled ! | wanttowin

30/11/2020 17:17 | The results statement also addressed their impact vision and to drive the delivery of this they have created an ESG Committee to be chaired a Non-Executive Director. These look good numbers, we just wish they would use simpler language! Investor's Champion has commented previously, how it’s very hard to fathom exactly what this business actually does given the terminology its uses to describe its services. | energeticbacker
30/11/2020 08:33 | Excellent results Boozey as expected, despite share price being a tad higher now than when I top sliced I am happy with my decision.. No doubt at all that this is only going one way in the long run. It is very rare for me to find a stock that more than doubles in such a short time (and my thanks again to GHF), I have in the past failed to bank profits on several stocks, I think it was greed to assume they would keep going up, so I have set out my tactics better. Holding firm with my remaining shares and will add on weakness. Good luck with your investing.. | wanttowin
29/11/2020 00:22 | Hi wanttowin, nothing wrong with taking a profit. I saw last week as the market finally waking up the Panoply's opportunities. Clearly the Sunday share tip was the catalyst for this. Given it operates in the Digital Transformation space it should by definition command a higher rating. Digital Transformation globally will be a $1000 billion market by 2025 - double what it is today. By my reckoning that is about a 20% compound increase per year. So even if Panoply only grows with the market it should be on a rating which reflects the market potential. It is heavily reliant on public sector work which has historically been the playground of the big consulting companies. The CEO knows this and makes a big play in his presentations about how government is willing these days to give business to smaller more nimble companies like Panoply which is the only serious player in the UK in the mid-market space. In summary a firm hold. I would agree it may be fully valued for the moment but has deserved its re-rating and is likely to remain on higher earnings multiples moving forward. Let's see what the results bring on Monday. | boozey
27/11/2020 12:40 | Top sliced a few here, and gambling on a dip after results to buy them back. | wanttowin
26/11/2020 13:02 | One for the bottom drawer. In this sort of space the company could easily look at 5 times revenue valuation. At £100M revenue in a couple of years time as forecast, that would be a £500M market which would be broadly a 400% increase from this new level around 200p. So 800p a share. Ok there may be dilution along the way to fund new acquisitions, but huge upside potential. The only surprising thing is it was quiet on this Board before the press article last weekend - and it is still quiet! I cannot stress enough the amount of money the world economy is investing in the area that Panoply operate in. | boozey
26/11/2020 11:17 | auxiliary boosters ignited and smashed through 200p ! | wanttowin
25/11/2020 17:20 | Indeed wanttowin - Panoply is right at the heart of Digital Transformation which has the biggest budgets on the plant. And the CEO has an excellent track record. Have not been into AIM stocks much in recent years but for this company I have most certainly made an exception. Already had handsome returns even before this week and will sit on this for as long as it takes to get bought out which at some point it surely will. Accenture, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, CAP, EY, IBM... take your pick. Results Monday. | boozey
23/11/2020 15:38 | go on you beauty..massive thanks to GHF for this one ! profits soaring..co doubled in size in just 2 years..phenomenal growth forecast. | wanttowin

13/10/2020 20:17 | Hi all, My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a ‘Twin Petes Investing’ Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion includes TPX and our take on increasing need for effective IT in government. We also chatted about loads of other Stocks and some Ideas for research, and the outlook for Markets and as usual a fair bit of educational stuff with regards to Investing. Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want TPI Podcast 33) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, Cheers, WD @wheeliedealer | thewheeliedealer
