12/7/2005 12:16 | For release 12 July 2005 TEG Environmental Plc Sale of Silo-Cage to Banham Compost Ltd TEG Environmental Plc ("TEG" or "The Company"), the leading edge green technology company which converts organic wastes into natural organic fertilizer, announces that Banham Compost Ltd, a subsidiary of Banham Poultry Ltd, has placed an order to purchase 56 of TEG's Silo-Cages, for #2 million. Banham Poultry Ltd, a privately-owned poultry processor, is based in Attleborough, Norfolk. It intends to process 35,000 tonnes of organic waste per annum which the TEG Silo-Cage in-vessel composting system will convert into a natural organic fertiliser. Commenting on the contract gain, Mick Fishwick, Chief Executive of TEG Environmental Plc said: "I am delighted that TEG has been selected by Banham as the sole technology provider following an exhaustive review of competing technologies. The order is subject to planning permissions but the site is ideal given it has existing planning permission for other waste operations." | wole | |
