TERTIARY

At first glance it did not appear that 2024 would move the dial for Tertiary Minerals (TYM), with a business as usual £375,000 fundraise in February. However, 6 weeks later the shares are one of the best risers of the week off news of consent to the EIA which provides for KoBold to earn into Exploration Licence 27067-HQ-LEL known as the Konkola West Copper Project in Zambia. While there have been various false dawns for TYM along its journey, the latest for Zambia appears significant, and enough to finally get the shares to go up and stay up.

This is what KoBold are going to test on our license, does Konkola West contain the ore body at depth;

The ore bodies at Mingomba are around 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) below the surface making drilling holes and mine shafts time-consuming and expensive. In the best case scenarios, it takes three months to construct one hole and it takes dozens of these to define one resource. KoBold has made progress in concluding some of this drilling and is why it is now seeking strategic and financial partners to take the mine development forward.

Early days yet, the risk/reward is huge, not for everyone but KoBold are the real deal and their tech and knowledge is first class.

Geologically, they are finding high grade copper at depth across the Western Fold belt as well as in Zambia.

My view is that we will see further speculation in the share, and that the market cap should be a minumim of 5-6m right now, this is a copper play, we have KoBold about to drill and we have other licenses. A 2m market cap was maybe right last year, pre-Kobold, but not now. Just my opinion.
