Question. Has intrigued me. Why are the AT trades in general such small amounts of a few hundred? It seems it's the AT trades that move the share price is it one big order broken down to parts?

bluster - FT Alphaville reported that Katz's history was common knowledge in the press and the relevant professional investment community. What has changed is that Shareprophets, unlike the financial press in this country dared to publish. This forced action. As the RNS contains no dates or words which might provide clarity on when they knew, such as "only recently been made aware", then when they knew is up to the interpretation of the individual reader. I know what my interpretation is.

To me this looks like a walking, quacking, duck. In any case irrespective of its probity, these lines from the interim report, especially the 40% margin yet substantial cash burn ($40m in 6 months), will deter both growth and value investors.


Gross margin 39.2% (H1 2016: 40.1%)

Adjusted EBITDA $14.7 million (H1 2016: $21.4 million), reflecting increased investment in two recently acquired businesses - such investment expected to reduce from H2 2017 onwards.

Loss before tax $6.7 million (H1 2016: profit $4.7 million)

Adjusted loss per share 0.8 cents (H1 2016: adjusted earnings per share 10.0 cents)

$49.7 million net raised from placing to support acquisitive growth

$Net debt of $9.3 million (31 Dec 2016: $17.7 million; 30 Jun 2016: $29.1 million)

Lucky I remained with ig spreadbet. City index seem a good one to use tho, reasonable spreads. Had to go there to open up bigger short now. Just done, thank you
