for me the trading update is a deal-breaker or killer, any whiff BS and I'm completely out. It's been a while since the profit warning and no substantial contract news with profit numbers, no longer care for overblown revenue projections.

Depends what the info is. Here I think it's as expected, I suppose a test of what value the co places on its own shares will show with its first purchase if there is one.

To put that in context, on the Short Interest Tracker (hxxp://www.shorttracker.co.uk/) they have 421 companies listed and Telit at 4.31% has the 24th highest short position, though still a long way short of the most shorted (18.4%) and only about half of the 10th (7.39%). So it is high in the rankings but the shorters still seem to have some doubts about going all-in.

I suppose that pretty much matches my view: some doubts but the potential is too big to short unless there is irrefutable evidence of something wrong.

Gartner tend to support IT professionals on research into technical innovation, operating models and leadership. They have their 'Magic Quadrants' that promote leading companies in key fields based upon their benchmarks. To my knowledge, they don't comment on individual company's financial strength, integrity or otherwise.

I attended the recent Gartner Symposium and Digitalisation was a core theme. I saw TCM referenced (along with a lot of other peers) in at least one presentation. This whole area has legs and industry is rapidly waking up to the concept.

In the context of Gartner - I do not have access to their premium content but noting their open access response to Globo's demise - having regularly cited it as a player, begs questions as to the thoroughness you might reasonably expect from such reports usually costing several thousand dollars upwards.
