Lantronix interest seems like a ploy to get DBAY higher. Presumably only those two in play.

The statement only says the Lantronix offer is unacceptable - presumably implying the DBAY one was acceptable ?

Back-of-the-envelope calculations - if TCM has annualised EBITA of $36m, then 10 times that would be $360m, or approx £300m. A 50% upside from 150p gets you to 225p. All imo.

I see that the potential further Lantronix bid is in Lantronix shares. I remember well a conversation with the KPMG man when selling a Company....' be very careful about accepting paper, it is a way they can buy you without much cost, but would you buy their shares anyway ? Much better to take the cash and then you can buy whoever's shares you want......

Agree, been on my watch list for ages, but hadn’t taken the plunge. Have now. Dbay won’t overpay, but the level of interest is clearly significant. Hoping for 30% uplift from here. GLA

Noted yesterday the recent increasing number of takeover offers of late and wondered who was next, a couple today today but didn't expect this one to be one of the first.

Crooked ex management, no free cash flow and even making up new operating metrics to try and hide the underlying performance.

Likely explains why the rumour involves only a safe 40 percent in cash and the price is only up 8%. Nonetheless, it's an attractive exit for holders imo
