24/4/2019 09:30 | Whilst the salt seems the money maker I was also interested in the COPD element. | hazl
24/4/2019 08:58 | I like how they cover most or a lot of their operating costs via fees from universities, etc. If they can feed cash needs of investee companies through external raises by the investees like with belluscura on crowdcube then this could be a good one. They have a curated egg of investments though with a few very good looking ones. Have certainly attracted some big hitters ... as long as they are truly involved. As always these companies can become chronically undervalued because of NAV calculations that don't take account of operational / technical advances. Big risk will be dilution ... but tempered by above. | meganxmas
24/4/2019 08:56 | Trust me, tech glasses will be your next iPhone. | moneygenxyz
24/4/2019 08:35 | Megan I did have a look at the glasses website and I don't get it, it's a poor set up and I don't quite get what they are trying to sell as it's poorly explained. So I'm ignoring that one. The method I use to find companies includes profit growth but I see that's a bit misleading (my method) in that form as the profit is revaluation not earnings as such so they don't (on the face of it), have much cash. I do get the salt bit though and it's an impressive team, which is great but thoughts about the number of staff and salaries, so a bit to work to do yet. However as the M/C seems low and the potential high, it's a case for me of trying to balance it up of what is a runner and at what cost in the near term. Considering where some of the staff have come from it does make me wonder why, do they think they are onto something big or are they rejects from their industries. That's just the nature of the AIM unfortunately not Tek, if you don't stay suspicious of all AIM companies in the early days, then you are likely to be bitten. | superg1
24/4/2019 07:55 | Spot on analysis. The salt is the main attraction. The glasses are gimmicky and cheap looking. | meganxmas
24/4/2019 07:52 | Dave I get the salt, the low fat cooking breakthrough and really like the look of X-plor. I don't get the glasses part or have any interest in it. Traceit seems interesting but I'm not wasting time to understand the problem to recognise its value. Guidant is surely long term. So for me the salt, the cooking method and X-plor seem to be the very interesting front runners any one of which imo can add material value to the company. The problem with any new product and new company is getting through the door of the big names to chat about it. As many of the staff are connected to the big names, then perhaps that explains the early launch and uptake of Microsalt. | superg1
24/4/2019 07:27 | 24 April 2019 Tekcapital Plc ("Tekcapital", the "Company" or "the Group") Portfolio Company Update: Belluscura plc raises £500,73 Tekcapital Plc (AIM: TEK), the UK intellectual property (IP) investment group focused on creating marketplace value from investing in university technology, is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Belluscura plc has reached 100% of its crowdfunding goal of £500,00 . The Product Belluscura has developed a patented portable oxygen concentrator called the X-PLOR, that can deliver 96% pure oxygen to patients 24/7. According to the Company1, the X-PLOR is designed to replace metal oxygen tanks and heavier devices. Weighing only 1.4kg, X-PLOR is 33% lighter and research suggests can provide 37% more oxygen per kg than leading competitors. Belluscura has exclusively licensed, acquired or filed 13 patents and applications in the field of concentrated oxygen generation. Market Information Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive life-threatening lung disease. Over 250 million people worldwide suffer from COPD2. 23/4/2019 22:22 | What's the big deal? Lo-Salt with potassium rather than sodium chloride has been available for years.Few companies can be bothered to use it (some Walker's snacks are an exception) but it should be compulsory. | trewsa
23/4/2019 20:21 | 29 Thanks Yes I did see that one but prior to this news it was relatively quiet which is something I hope for if I spot something. It does look like the type of company that can excite the market and PIs. perhaps with very good reason. Any one of the companies could get the share price going much higher so well worth the effort of putting in a few hours of reading which I'm about to do right now. At these levels and the apparent prospects a few pump and dump guys just create a bit of useful churn. | superg1
23/4/2019 17:35 | Yes looking good tonight. Good start to the week. Let’s see if this can move up to about 16p this week | barnetpeter

23/4/2019 13:13 | 29palms Is there another thread or is this the only one? Just asking as I have so many filtered I can only wonder if other threads exist. When you filter folk, any thread they may have created is also filtered. | superg1
23/4/2019 13:11 | PJ Who are they BTW who do you have as the P&D crew. | superg1
23/4/2019 12:53 | PJ I dropped on this over the weekend when I was on a hunt for anything undervalued. I was too busy sorting the wheat from the chaff but and circled this one after a brief glance. I've been reading up this morning, the staff they have connected to each product/company looks phenomenal. Not some untested spiv lot trying on some spin, top-level guys with the relevant big name experience. I'm not the slight bit concerned about any pump and dump crew as it looks very undervalued on the potential. EG a PE of 15 for £1 mill profit is currently 27p. £470k at the current share price So while it's seen a big rise today, in theory over time, it potentially has a lot higher to go just on the one company, not the portfolio. | superg1
23/4/2019 12:52 | As previously stated, this could be a star for 2019 | 29palms
