                                 Result of EGM



At the extraordinary general meeting of The Innovation Group plc (the
'Company'), which took place earlier today, the resolutions put to shareholders
of the Company relating to the proposed Rights Issue, announced on 14 February
2003, were passed.



Accordingly, Provisional Allotment Letters in respect of the Rights Issue will
be posted today and dealings in the New Ordinary Shares, nil paid, are expected
to commence at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, 5 March 2003. The latest time and date for
acceptance and payment in full and registration of renunciation of Provisional
Allotment Letters is expected to be 9:30 a.m. on 28 March 2003.
