18/11/2009 20:55 | "Mr Waldron's words seemed to mollify investors, whose grievances of late had resulted in the company's share price sliding below £19 from close to £24 during the last month. " I dream of those share prices!!! | ![]() willybaby
18/11/2009 20:43 | unbelievable even when profit doubles - 'it is unacceptable' - how do they expect shares to ever go up when they are communication like that. Even the bbc picked up on negative vibe. | ![]() supreme mo
18/11/2009 14:43 | Any thoughts on Ben Sayers ? Was it a good buy ? Tandem Group, the Aim-listed leisure company which owns the Claud Butler and Dawes bicycle brands, is raising £2.25m to buy Ben Sayers, the golf club manufacturer whose history goes back almost 130 years. Tandem Group, the Aim-listed leisure company which owns the Claud Butler and Dawes bicycle brands, is raising £2.25m to buy Ben Sayers, the golf club manufacturer whose history goes back almost 130 years And remember the days....Profits double each year and the story hit the BBC news website | ![]() davidosh

17/11/2009 16:27 | Can someone post it on iii please ? I shall ask someone to cover TMF and another board. I do not think the Board will want an EGM and they are fairly aware of who is who on here so just saying you agree in many ways will show the voting stance. This is a small, efficient and to be honest well run ship but visibly from the outside looks like an oil tanker where shareholders have struggled to effect change. These corporate governance issues can surely be arranged amicably. | ![]() davidosh
17/11/2009 16:07 | I'll have to check how many shares I have, doubt it is 10,000 though, I am holding from the days of MV Sports. Had loads back then but got completely screwed when Tandem bought them.... I think I lost 95% of my value!! I've bought a few extra since but think I'm just shy of 10,000. But I do agree with your plan. | ![]() willybaby
17/11/2009 15:45 | Thanks Willybaby..found him. I was told he attended an AGM three years ago and probably attends them each year so useful contact maybe. SHAREHOLDER SUPPORT Are there any more holders here with say 10,000 shares or more who would officially like to be added to a letter to be sent to the board requesting two additional non executives be appointed to the company ? As an option some of you may just wish to post here and simply post 'agree' or 'disagree' with that suggestion. Just to be clear. It is not my intention to call an EGM at this stage to take the resolution if necessary to a vote. However the Board are likely to want an indication of the number of shareholders and size of holdings if we are jointly requesting changes of this nature. I have already been in contact with and have support from tens of you but I appreciate many more of you lurk and do not necessarily post. If you have not previously made contact now is your chance to air your views. | ![]() davidosh
