Given the updates so far I don't see that as likely, but what do I know...

Is it not a case of being QUIET then ?

Haven't checked in here for ages and am amazed to see that they doubled from 40p to 80p before this pull back. These guys have always been one set of bad results from having to do an emergency fund raise and I think they are way overvalued unless next Tuesday's results show that they have properly turned a corner. Given the updates so far I don't see that as likely, but what do I know...

But trading volume and size are both small, though of course this share rarely has large figures in either regard. Only strange point is the series of 5,000 sells early afternoon, but even if these came from the same seller, they only add up to £20,000 odd.

That could move the price significantly, but unlikely that these were from "someone in the know"; simply not large enough

Similarly, the forward order book figures in the IMS were well up on the previous years and one of the two potential problems mentioned in the IMS (and previous results announcement) should be covered by insurance. So only one possible "black hole".

results due Tuesday 5th August - ?? Information leaking and selling ahead of results ?? - There were enough potential problems in the ims so that if any have been resolved in the negative there could be a very nasty hit on profits. (imo dyor etc) Only reason I can suggest for the sales and share price hit.

Other thoughts ??

IC buy tip 4th April at 72/74 - IC usually known as KOD (Kiss of death) though this time fairly balanced and points out customer holding back on paying in full for a £24 million contract and also £10.9 million pension deficit.
Steady Eddie [imo] - Possible for yield but margins still less than wafer thin at 0.6% No room for error even a marginal slip could result in a LOSS so brokers forward p/e ratio of 13 at 74p at significant risk (imo) .

All the cash gone, bad debts and virtually zero margins. I guess all that's left for them is to be optimistic! It will be a long haul before this looks like a good value play.
