Board Changes and launch of new investor website
SysGroup plc (AIM:SYS), the managed IT services and cloud hosting provider, is pleased to announce that Adam Binks, Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Adam joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer in August 2014 and has been a member of the Board since October 2017. Michael Edelson, will resume his position as Non-Executive Chairman.
Commenting on the appointment, Michael Edelson, Non-Executive Chairman, said: "We are delighted that Adam has agreed to become CEO. He has been an integral member of the team for a number of years and has played a key role in the development of the Company. Since his appointment to the Board we have been impressed with his strategic vision for the Company alongside his leadership abilities and he is the natural choice to assume this role. The Board has full confidence in Adam's ability to realise the market opportunity for the Group as a managed services provider and take it through the next stage of growth following a period of transition."
Commenting on his appointment, Adam Binks said: "I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of CEO after having worked with SysGroup for a number of years. This is an exciting time for the Company as we continue to expand our managed services offering and deliver on our growth strategy."
