The way I read it, SYS is / was an acquisitive + growth company, but the low valuation has led to a focus on cost controls and organic growth. There have only been a couple of small bolt an acquisitions in the last couple of years. The company is undeservedly undervalued imo - and I'm looking for a rerating having shown growth.

Cheers tiltonboy. I'd say either way, but given in valuation terms we are trading at a sizeable sector discount I feel it could well prove to be a real target. It should be interesting to see the TU and if positive as hoped for, just where the share price goes.

hastings,

As a long-standing and respected poster, I'm delighted to listen to your opinion.

Was your "absolutely" referring to being a target, or consolidator....

Apologies tiltonboy as you've not asked my opinion, but I'll throw it in!I'd say absolutely, reminds me very much of Accumuli and Tax Systems!!

weatherman,

Not that I would want it at this stage of their development, but with consolidation in the sector, do you think SYS could be a target, or a consolidator?

I do see this under the radar, I like the recurring sales %, giving a strong backbone to sales and ample opportunity to take advantage of their position. Worth noting through the last year the company did not receive any Govt help apart from taking the option of delaying a VAT qtr payment which was indicated would be settled by the 31st Mar. Trading update should be interesting, would not mind an indication on cash generation as well. I think the herd will arrive at some point! To my mind there are other companies in this sector on far loftier valuations.

Redcentric is trading above 2x revenue - An equivalent price for SYS would be around 100p.

Solid and progressive trading update from Redcentric this morning, which augurs well for SYS when they provide their year end trading update, due later this month.

"The Company's performance throughout the year ended 31 March 2021 has been excellent with revenues growing, healthy profitability and exceptional cash flows.....revenue and adjusted EBITDA for the financial year ended 31 March 2021 are expected to be in line with the board's expectations."

Measureguy,

that is correct, they are all showing as sells despite being buys. I should know I have been buying again today.

All 11 trades so far today have been Buys, although ADVFN show anything below mid-price as a Sell. I know because I topped up at under the mid-price earlier this morning, which is showing as a Sell.

Thanks for the support & confidence folks. We are busy working hard. Manchester is going to be great for us. It won’t happen overnight but I’m certain it’s a great addition to the portfolio.

Part of the problem is the previous incarnations that have promised and never delivered. I've been in since the very beginning, but at least have confidence this time round.

Only need to double from here...lol...

Hi Hastings just to acknowledge it was your excellent interview/write up with the CEO that got me looking at SYS. Fingers crossed this delivers as liquidity could make this very interesting!

Have quite a few myself now too YASRUB and agree, let's hope that enthusiasm is confirmed in the forthcoming update. In my last interview with the CEO it was apparent that Sys isn't in the business of trotting out any news as some AIM companies do. Although that obviously results in long periods of silence, such a strategy often results in good longer term traction. Trusting that will prove to be the case here!

I have been building a position here, final tranche this morning. It is definitely thinly traded and I hope the enthusiasm on their twitter account translates into the update. It looks undervalued for this sector and hopefully with good news gets into focus.

Trading update was on 20 April last year, results in June - looking good for a rise, although was able to buy a few more under the mid price - so may show as a sell.

They must be on a PE of 10 or less, and looks like an expectation of growth. "Chief executive Adam Binks said: "This is an extremely exciting move for us and the obvious next step in our growth journey.

"While our roots are in Liverpool, we have a huge client base across the whole of the UK, which has increased significantly in the last 12 months as the dependency on IT services became even more critical."

Mas,

There must have been a small mention somewhere, given the number of trades, albeit relatively low value.

There's always stock on offer!

Hi Mas, I've been in touch with the CEO and will be speaking with him on or around the TU next month. That should be towards the end of April, so will be adding a write up of course.
