Will be interesting to see what the next set of figures from that web site look like as the Cool2vu web site was only re-launched at the beginning for Feb.

Need a lot more views in order to generate decent revenues.

That site estimates just 60,000 visits for the whole of February. Video adverts generate an average of $24.80 per thousand views according to one study I found. So if each visitor viewed one video advert that implies revenues of less that $1,500 a month.

On that basis issuing an RNS stating that the site is already generating revenues seems misleading.

Look at the stats from this site. The Alexa ones seem to be out of date. Traffic is significantly increasing according to this site.

"cool2vu.com receives about 920 unique visitors and 8,284 (9.00 per visitor) page views per day which should earn about $7.36/day from advertising revenue. Estimated site value is $2,930.43. According to Alexa Traffic Rank cool2vu.com is ranked number 409,325 in the world and 0.0002% of global Internet users visit it."

Wow!

Sorry today’s announcement raises more concerns than the excitement of increased revenues. NO numbers were provided, just hype. This reminds me of what happened in February. Then look what happened a matter of weeks later.

Management should be giving a more rounded view otherwise trust will be lost with the next round of realism. All in my honest opinion.

The excerpt that Mike has posted just goes to show how conservative the 2015 forecast is. The performance of Viki alone has probably made a significant dent in the target of adding another £100,000 a month in revenue to meet their revenue forecast and this is only the first quarter.

given prospects, conservative p/e of 4 looks ridiculous

Appreciate that Mike, I was just attempting to add some detail as to why they were conservative.

Dax,I tried to emphasise that those forecasts are very conservative.I would not be surprised to see revs at least £1m ahead of that forecast.Cash flow should be around £550k per month before admin of £200k.However the co is building itself into a content co. so expenditure is likely to continue at a high level. They are very rapidly building a network for monetising that content.I believe the margins on their content are very useful.

Thanks for the pointer Mike,

The 2015 revenue forecast of 13.5m assumes monthly revenues of around 1.1m, given that the company exited 2014 with monthly revenues of 1.0m, it's not going to take very much to achieve the 2015 forecast, with cool-vu ramping up in several countries, the cross selling opportunities and the new ventures announced.
Initially I was disappointed that forecasts for 2015 had been cut so drastically but the new figures provide a target to beat, hopefully quite comfortably.
It is disappointing that cash collection from PTNP is worse than expected and the company does need to ensure that the 9 month collection period is adhered to.

Excellent news that a cash call is not required, hope that's soon reflected in the share price.

New note out from Allenby.Takes very conservative view.Eps for 2014 at 7.7p and 2015 of 10.4,forward p/e of 4.3.Lot of money going on content but cash position not requiring any further cash raise.Estimates year end cash at £1m+.
Emphasis that these are very conservative.

Falling knives are relative.

I bet nobody was saying "get out while you can" at 120p, although obviously lots were. Same old.
