Why is it unreasonable to assume that they did not budget for non-conventional PCP pumps and did not budget for further testing (to establish whether they can work with Viton or have to go down the all metal route)?

The chances of a raise increase with time, and SYN still has a lot of legwork to do. Presumably some of the items we heard about recently were not budgeted for.

Simple.... No raise is coming hence why the big man's in India to establish a joint venture with a blue chip company... which means they would fund the drilling costing SYN nothing, What if he decided to go for a full sale... again no raise needed just a huge payout to us share holders... in my opinion I see no downside here only big things on the horizon. Sell or hold it's your call but I'm not giving up my shares to something I feel could be huge, a full field development BOSCH

Over what time period though? Folk are not that patient, which knocks sentiment, and with enough delay folk start worrying about the next raise. It seems to me that SYN are on their own until everything is proven and they can present potential partners with something practically tied up with a bow. This could bag like nobody's business if SYN stay the course, but I doubt very much that anything significant is imminent.
