Is that just not wishful thinking? Surely the farm in partner, more than anything, wants to see the technical solution that proves the viability of the field development concept, at which point it really will be game on. That, though, is some way off.

Not really the farm-in partner may have wanted syn to have a certain amount of available funds in place.

Not great for those in for a quick buck but any longer term investor should realise this is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. Just a temporary blip on the share price

The market gets it. Think of the CLNs as haircut warrants. At least potentially. And confirmation that SYN was not as well funded as the other thread would have us believe.

It's a convertible loan - they get the money and the shares are only issued if the holder elects to take them or they get their interest each year.It's a small percentage of the shares in issue so shouldn't be a big deal considering both of these points.

That would be great, but my experience is that potential partners prefer tiddlers like SYN to take the risks (and their shareholders to foot the bills) for as long as possible. I think we have some wishful thinkers on the other thread trying to persuade us otherwise.

You may be correct but also some others with far more knowledge than us may see the potential of this, seeing as it is still running at 200,000 SCFD whilst being inhibited with the 1500m column of gas condensate and have the knowledge and know-how to see that this problem can easily be rectified.
