Net Asset Value

The Company today announces that at the close of business on 31 December 2023, the Company's unaudited Net Asset Value was US$381,260,889 (30 September 2023: US$362,310,346) representing a Net Asset Value per ordinary share of US$0.7427 (30 September 2023: US$0.7058).

NAV takes into account the fair value of unrealised investments. In accordance with the valuation policies of the Company, real estate related investments are valued by third parties on 30 June and 31 December each year. In addition, and in accordance with the Company's valuation policies, investments that have been held for less than 12-months are held at cost unless there is evidence of a diminution in the value of that investment. Although the investment manager believes there not to be a diminution in the value of investments held for less than 12- months, the war in Ukraine has led to a significant increase in economic uncertainty which is evidenced by more volatile asset prices and currency exchange rates and therefore cost may not correspond to an appropriate measure of fair value in the current environment.
