Posted at 16/1/2025 08:24 by the cronk Quite often management issue options at a high price just to try and convince investors they are optimistic about the company's prospects. Most retail investors see such moves as bullish, and a benchmark for the share price to reach. It raises expectations as people focus on the option price. I would be more convinced if management were buying aggressively in the market at the current share price personally, options are a one way bet for them with no risk attached, unlike shareholders who risk their capital. |

Posted at 21/7/2023 16:55 by z1co It's better to be invested in this than that pile of poo CLCO in which Beeks has been invested for years and it's still making losses. The good news for investors is that the company will become profitable again from H2 onwards. There will be a lot more buying after the trading update. |
Posted at 16/9/2021 10:10 by laughingmike I've only been an investor for just over a year, I love their potential products but also see the truth in comments regarding it as a lifestyle company.Does anyone know the potential turnover value of the bread packaging? Is this product the closest to the "jam tomorrow" becoming reality they have had? |
Posted at 27/2/2021 09:36 by bbmsionlypostafter Currently doing th rounds on the financial bulletin boards & said to apply to EQT, VRS & without a doubt poster boy for the AIM lifestyle company, SYM.Always bear in mind the maxim for BOD's. It is to ensure that company makes them and their families financially secure. If the company succeeds as well, that is a bonus. I can already hear some posters saying 'how can that be achieved without the company succeeding? First, pension pot payments will be maximised from our coffers. Free shares and options, which can be transferred to family, and then sold, and of course, salary and bonuses. I'm sure most investors on here have been invested in companies which have seen BOD members do very well, and the company not so. But, hope springs eternal, and since most of us are 'greedy', we lack the common sense to sell, and we wait for 20, 30 50, 100 bagger. |
Posted at 22/12/2020 11:00 by pugugly Mr Market continuing to be un-happy here - Falling on a mainly blue day - Thoughts as to why? For starters - possibly over valued? Too complex area for the average investor to underdtand? Too much uncertainty over plastics? Confusion between bio-degradeable and the fact the EU is banning oxo-biodegradable -So any thoughts as to a correct price and value - |

Posted at 24/7/2020 08:01 by pwhite73 Yes its basically criminal activity. The shares are in huge demand due to the product announcement yesterday so they don't want you buying any but at the same time if you do happen to hold they don't want you selling at a profit. So you can't move either way at the moment. The slightest tick up and they freeze you out so only the insider market dealers can sell at a profit. Online small private investors get the worst deals. Just hold for now. |
Posted at 23/7/2020 11:12 by siennadelekat21 Hi, I'm new to this board and am hoping to get a little insight from some of the longer term holders regarding this plastic (and the test results just announced). The results obviously relate to Bovine Coronavirus (and they were very impressive results). Are people (investors) hoping that this will play out similarly with COVID-19 (ie have the company stated they are testing or intend to test for this too?). If the answer is yes, then I can definitely see a lot of potential upside here..Sienna |
